I agree rain could play a part but I cant see Ireland beating Pakistan or India. Form says they cant. Romanticism says Ireland deserve a QF spot. Any which ways, Pakistan vs Ireland should be the best of the remaining league matches. I do feel Ireland deserve a spot in the quarter-finals, they played with great spirit and passion

Not Broad's fault though Flintoff is the culprit I've not watched cricket for so song I have no idea what you're talking about If you seriously want to know:

England at the brink of another World Cup exit. This time before the knockout stages. Tottering at 132/5 in pursuit of 277 against Bangladesh. Its curtains unless Jos Butler and Root do something extraordinary, which isnt impossible though, considering Butler's form. If England lose, Pool A standings remain just a formality. Irish supporters must be really happy after they have one foot in the knock outs. Glad for Ireland. Really fighting bunch. India and NZ have maintained their all win record, whereas Australia are scaring the opposition with huge scores. Maxwell is a beast. Interesting matches coming up which would decide the QF lineups - Ireland vs Pakistan and Bangla vs NZ (if Eng win today) Who cares. ODIs aren't real cricket. The fifty over game is as close as it gets but otherwise it's funfair stuff. Its become more of an entertainment. More of a batsman's game, but entertaining nevertheless. The world cup is big mate, especially in the sub-continent, Asia-pacific and even England.

Comprehensive win by India today. Assures them of topping the group. Ireland now face do or die tie against Pakistan. Could be a humdinger. Pool A is decided, Pool B can throw up intriguing results.

I am more worried that India is going into the QFs unbeaten, there are some obvious weaknesses that is not exposed in the matches played.

Some bit of complacency was taken care off in the West Indies game. But yeah, Australia and NZ will be real tough. The Indian bowling has not been attacked much. How they would react to being attacked by Warner, Finch, McCullum, Maxwell would determine the actual strength and attitude of the bowlers.

Yeah bowling is a perennial worry but batting in itself has some weaknesses, apart from Kohli there is no one consistent player is in the squad and too many flashy players. It is better to drop one of the 3 fast bowlers and play Binny who provides new ball bowling and Batting depth.

Plus, the bowlers have formed a good partnership, and as Shami said the other day, they have a defined role. I think it would be difficult to change at this stage of the competition.

Against Zimbabwe we can experiment a little, today Umesh Yadav bowled just 4 overs and thats a role of part-timer played by a primary bowler We cannot wait till a disaster to happen in knock out stages. Also I dont believe this winning combination in cricket.

Yes we really need another South African in the team He can fuck off and make more millions from marketing and whoring himself out all over the world I wonder how the South Africans in their own national team feel about people like him who turn their back on their country to become "English"?

It doesn't make any sense, he was said to be sacked because he was 'unmanageable' and if he is recalled it will be a bad precedent. So it means if you dont have good enough players then you can include an unmanageable player. Absolutely stupid decision if that happens.
