It doesn't make any sense, he was said to be sacked because he was 'unmanageable' and if he is recalled it will be a bad precedent. So it means if you dont have good enough players then you can include an unmanageable player. Absolutely stupid decision if that happens. They are just as well bringing back Sir 'Beefy' Botham. He may be old and fat now but I bet he would do a better job than the English lot.

Need to have more variety in the bowling attack, all the bowlers are similar at this moment.

Huge test for South Africa today, it is an opportunity for them to lose the 'chokers' tag. In this WC they haven't been at the best in group stages which is unusual for them so this might be the turnaround for them. Players like Amla, Faf etc are due for a big score and today might be the day.

8 Looking good for South Africa now! 9 down. And SA had a scare with the rain gods intervening. SA and rain (read Duckworth Lewis method) dont share a very good relationship

Sri Lanka all out for 133. SA should win comfortably unless something dramatic happens.

SA have posted a huge score in the semis. NZ need to score 298 of 43 overs to claim their place in the finals. Towards the end, Miller and De Villiers accelerated like a F1 car. Fantastic and clean hitting

Looks like SA will not reach the finals, familiar story.

Probably the best game of the tournament. As I say, Ronchi goes, and SA chances rise once again. 29 required of 17
