Watching the Ireland v England RU match. Ireland leading 19-9. They are looking good for the Grand Slam if they hang on and beat them. That will be England's Grand Slam hopes gone. Ireland has the last 2 matches away against Wales in Cardiff which will be a tough one as Wales beat France in Paris yesterday and Ireland play my Scotland at Murrayfield. Scotland can't even beat Italy at home so Ireland will beat them easy. Looks like Scotland for the wooden spoon.

Love Rugby. Played it in my army days. I was Tighthead Prop for the school team - probably would have enjoyed it more as a back I played on the wing until I damaged my ankle and after that played at full-back. Nothing like going for an up and under with 3 or 4 giant props hurtling towards you and having too keep your eye on the ball and saying to yourself "Shit...keep your eye on the ball".

Played as a winger too. Belter of a game yesterday. Massive game coming up in Cardiff in two weeks.

They played England at their own game and came out on top. Looking forward to the Wales v Ireland match. What I love about Rugby here in Scotland is come match day who ever is playing Scotland at Murrayfield is seeing all the supporters mixing with Scottish supporters streaming down Princess Street heading towards the stadium singing with banners waving. You might get the odd bit of trouble but not like football. Mums, Dads with their kids all happy and looking forward too a good old game of Rugger. The pubs and clubs are heaving after the match no matter who lost or won, mixing, drinking and singing and all talking about the match. Been to the Dalkeith Miners club or British Legion many a time after a match and you get a lot of supporters staying overnight in Edinburgh and hitting the clubs.

I know this is the 6 Nations thread but it's still Rugby I had to put this video in. It's classed as the greatest try ever (or that try). The Baa-Baas (Barbarians) 23 v 11 New Zealand All Blacks, Cardiff Arms Park, January 1973. Phil Bennett started it off at the back with some side steps, then JPR Williams, Pullin, Dawes, David, Quinnel before Gareth Edwards finished it off with the try, brilliant.

This was to beat New Zealand, in New Zealand. Pretty much the end of the game too.

Will be watching Ireland v Wales on the BeeB at 14.30. It's a 'must watch' for me and should be a cracker of a match. Ireland win this then they are one step closer to the Grand Slam.

This Wales Ireland match is very high quality The first half was shite buddy compared to the second half. That had me on the edge of my sofa. Ireland gave it all but too many handling errors by both sides. The referee gave some strange decisions TBH but that's rugby. Ireland lost that match with line out errors and handling errors.
