Beer's beer - who cares what it tastes like As a failed member of the AA I object to this. If you compare say Coors to Skol then my friend the taste makes a huge difference and should be noted as being top priority when it comes to beer. 1664 aint bad but not the best.

i'm with carbo. didn't mean to single out bestie but i always poke fun at beer buffs ;D no offence intended to any of ya's
pretty much any bottled or tap beer is fine by me, there are certain ones i think are nicer than others but i'm not fussed.
in my opinion crap beer is asda smart price and anything on that level, even those cheap french stubbies are fine by me if i'm over a mates and that's what's going.

NBA is far from my favourite. I like an Adnams myself. Broadside especially.

Having said that, my Polish mate thinks Newcy is the best thing since sliced bread. And the Poles have some excellent beers over there!
Difficult to say what my all time fave beer is; I seem to go through phases. One month I'll be all over the milds, next I'll be loving the fruity ales. I try to stick to the locally brewed stuff as much as possible. Got some nice ones near me in Oxfordshire.

don't worry, the embarrasment factor of that is nowt compared to sticking your hand up and saying 'orgasm' in science class when the answer was 'organism', and seeing both class and teacher pissing themselves

Beer: Moretti, at the moment.
Ale: Good Manc pint of Bodds! But for 'local' ales, Old Growler from Newcastle is excellent, I remember most of one particular evening in the local across the road with a 'Real Ale Card' and more than a full card of that stuff.
