I did wonder if there will be some co-operation between the clubs, in terms of loans, etc going forward. Lets face it, its a big gamble for Molde loaning out their manager, although you would expect him to lay out his plans for their upcoming season before leaving, so their caretaker can carry on. Maybe we will give them first refusal on loanees going forward. Helping Molde possibly win a title or 2, playing in Europe for them, etc, would certainly do their development no harm. And working under Ole would do no harm either. Could benefit both clubs long term. Given he has been back there 3 years, im surprised it hasn't happened already

Anyone have an idea of Ole’s tactics and preferred formation?

First time for a long time we have reason to be optimistic. Roll on Saturday when we pile drive them 10-1 (not expecting miracles like a clean sheet straight away, Jones scoring for them obviously).
Welcome home Ole!
Still love him for this...

Anyone have an idea of Ole’s tactics and preferred formation? Tactics - eject dreary nonsense football and replace with fluid ATTACKING football. Formation - 2 up top please

I get the feeling that above all else it will be entertaining this year. You expect plenty of bad results ahead but I hope beyond hope the era of panic play is on it's way to ending

Anyone have an idea of Ole’s tactics and preferred formation? 4-4-2 and attacking, ultra attacking from what some fella was saying on SSN this morning. One thing he did say is he likes to have his full backs pushed right up, so they're virtually playing like wing backs.

Getting a clean sheet against Cardiff could be portrayed as entertaining at this rate Whatever happens now it is solely on the players. They've hidden behind Mourinho for long enough but now have nowhere else to hide. Its up to them to now prove they are good enough.

The players have their chance to stand up and be counted. Shackles are off. The wicked witch is dead. No more excuses

Genuinely excited about United again.
I've always maintained we've got a hugely talented squad of players, so it'll be great to have this coaching staff looking at getting the best out of them. Phelan, McKenna and Ole all have good records working with young players.
In the end, it can't get worse than Moyes' football and finishing 7th, so we know it'll be entertaining.
This all feels pretty well planned - get in a DoF before the new Gaffer starts and things are really looking up.
