Which would show that the club doesn't really do forward planning! Name me some caretakers who have gone on to any kind of long term success in England? The only one I can think of is the West Brom manager. So because the club put something in place incase ole does well we don’t forward plan? Maybe just maybe his club insisted on this detail Well any manager would need to be paid off regardless.

I think OGS is the plan B. but Molde will want cash for him missing part of their season and you cant fault that. imo, he needs to bring back Mulensteen too as he was the real genius behind fergies CL winnin campaign. That's a different package which comes to 1.8m

Should Ole make a success of his temporary period United are to pay Molde £7 million to make the deal permanent. Here's hoping he can do it. Which would show that the club doesn't really do forward planning! Name me some caretakers who have gone on to any kind of long term success in England? The only one I can think of is the West Brom manager. That is literally the definition of forward plannning. Oh and Di Mateo won the Champions League, the biggest club trophy in football.
