After a great start against Leeds I really thought we would win the game against Soton but its clear that Ole really is out of his depth, If its not going well he clearly doesent have the tactical know how to put things right, going on that last game we are in for a repeat of last season except other teams have re enforced and we wont be finishing 1st or second, top 4 at a push. Whilst he rightly gets most of the blame, the simple truth is that we do not have the £££ to compete with City,Chelsea & both have better managers/coaches Liverpool have a better manager/coach Leicester have a better manager/coach & recruitment structure.

Well over half a £billion since 2017 is hardly a trifle, we’re only second behind Citeh ,who spent more, over that period. It’s coaching, or the lack of it in Ole’s case, that makes the difference.

We’re hamstrung by both Glazernomics and the manager now. We’re relying on the opposition to fail. That’s not going to last forever. If Conte goes to Arsenal we’re done.

Glazernomics compound year on year, they also never factored covid. City will spend more than double what we do this summer & have resources to do it every summer.

Hopefully he’s signed a pre contract agreement already with the gimps . Maybe they’re going to be pro active for once in their lives ?

Conte is probably waiting on a bigger job than Arsenal. I can see him wanting Madrid or PSG.

I can see Zidane heading to PSG and Conte heading to Real Madrid. Pochettino is going to struggle with all the big names in the dressing room at PSG and if he doesn't win the CL he will get kicked out. Ancelotti is clearly in a kind of caretaker role to steady the ship while Real Madrid decide what to do next.

Thanks for sharing. Neville has always been a hypocritical wanker when it came to this manager.

talkSPORT @talksport · 4h “Solskjaer starting Martial up front is why #MUFC aren’t title contenders.”
Eyes “Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is killing them!”
@mrjamieohara1 has hammered Solskjaer for starting Martial against Southampton.
For once someone other than Simon Jordon on TalkSport can see it & is prepared to say it!

The fact that this guy has decided to keep Lingard and Martial around shows me what a no mark chancer he really is. He does not care one jot about winning anything during his time here. He's just glad he has a job here and that's about it.

With the summer additions I think the bare minimum for this season has to be.
Top 3 and in the title race at the 30 game mark.
CL Quarters
A domestic final.
I’m not saying I’d be content with that but anything less and ole has to be replaced.

I’d go a little further. He’s got by far the strongest squad of any manager in the post Fergie era. So he needs to be held to a higher standard than they’ve already achieved . That means nothing less than a domestic cup and a proper title challenge will do for me. Big clubs sack managers when they don’t win things. Ole got a free pass last year because we generously felt consecutive top four finishes represented progress. But standards need to be raised.

Ole has to win a trophy with this squad, which you can argue is top 3 domestically and quite possibly top 10 in Europe.
