Bayern paid 25 million euros for their manager!! Proper club doing what they needed to do. Abramovich personally apologises for getting rid of a club legend, but he did it as clearly he knew the team was better than what was being seen and the manager had hit his limit. Ole’s position is untenable, can’t even get the DOF role as that’s taken. Souness was spot on when he said that the whole management and coaching was learning on the job, they needed experience to guide them. Neville mentioning Phelan was the most pathetic thing I have heard, he doesn’t even coach!!!!! What does Phelan do? This is a question I haven't seen an answer to if I'm honest. He just lurks. Picks team with ole, watches the coaching and reports to Ole

That is the problem really. Phelan is a damn good coach. Former players used to rave about his training sessions. But he's now been promoted into a position where he just oversees stuff while the coaches on the training ground are amateurs learning on the job like Carrick.
If we hire a new manager he needs to bring his own backroom team and get rid of all these jobs for old boys.

Nothing in Moyes' tenure was remotely as humiliating as this farce. He's now doing better with a shit club than this asshat is doing after spending this much money. nor LVG or Jose's this joker is pushing Dave Sexton close as the worst I've witnessed. Sexton’s teams were at least well-organised. Desperately dull but well-organised. Ole’s are just a train wreck.

We don't have a midweek game so they have to pull the trigger today. Why are they waiting? It's clear he can't pull this around and even if he does, he won't win anything. He's steadied the ship, but he's hit a wall and he can't take us to that next level.

We are waiting because we know how this works. Ed will give Ole assurances his job is safe and he has absolute confidence in him. Meanwhile Ed will start sounding out potential replacements. And then Ed will wait patiently for our next humiliating defeat to pull the trigger.
And of course we will look completely stupid because months ago we gave him a fat new contract until 2024. But that is the way this club is run.

There is one huge problem with sacking him,the next DNA bluffer in waiting is already lurking there in the background ,out on the training pitch most day's with boy's,whilst his Mrs takes his kids to City's academy, you assume because it's a better set.

It’s well known that Woodward is very tuned in to the trends regarding Utd on social media. I think the fact Ashton hasn’t come out with any nonsense yet indicates just how aware Utd are of the derision Neville has received for his hysterical performance yesterday.

Yeah we are very PR conscious so you can bet the people at the top have decided to keep quiet and hope people get bored of slagging us off and we can get some kind of result against Tottenham that will allow us to pretend the Liverpool result was just a one-off rather than an inevitability given the way we have started this season.

The clowns that gave Ole a contract extension will be wiping egg off their stupid faces for a while until we lose more games and the season is lost altogether before acting.

He kept spouting off about them trying to press when they aren't used to do it, and defense being all over the place, not running enough and covering least ground in the league per game and all that. When asked who takes responsibility his face and response left me gobsmacked.

BTW- did anyone else feel like someone had stepped over their grave when the camera panned to Southgate in the crowd yesterday?
