21 Pilots are pretty awesome, shouldn't really say that about a band that my 11 year old son introduced me to, but I like 'em!

Just finished listening to Vessels.
Belakor is hands down the greatest thing to come out from Australia.
What an album.
Also, Tool is coming out with a double album . Fucking yeah.

^ Nice, some dyanmite Gitfiddle playing gets the grampy juices going. Was a huge concert rat in my day, first concert, Led Zep in Iowa City, last was Gov't Mule last April , and I have tickets to see them again at outdoor amphitheater next month \0/
When in Navy, took hops from air bases and saw every fooking Concert tour of Pink Floyd, right up to the Division Bell when I was well out of the Navy. Watched Rory Gallagher blow Jimi Hendricks right off the fooking Stage.
Now my main man is Joe Bonnamassa , that youngster played with BB King when he was in Grade school and has never looked back, I'll be traveling to see him this fall. He does things that I've only seen matched by Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy.
LONG LIVE ROCK!

I too saw Floyd on the division bell tour. Great concert. Have a listen to the flaming lips dark side of the moon cover album.

I'm not usually a fan of the Gallagher blokes but this is pretty good. Noel is a far superior songsmith. Liam is a bit shit IMO!

WOOOOF been too long since I have seen a good show. Nothing like live concert, only problem is that it makes it harder to appreciate albums by same band.

Pretty damn good ^ though I am die hard Pink Floyd fan, were 4 of us in Boot Camp that are huge Floyd Fans, I've seen every one of their tours since 1974. Flew from Guam to Tokoyo to watch Animals Most shows I go to are bands that are old and grey like me Last show I went to was to see Gov't Mule, small auditorium, they kicked serious ass and I got to chat with Warren Haynes when the band arrived a bit late an we were outside taking air. Haynes is one of the very best guitarists in the world, started for long time with Allman Brothers, a true legend.. when he hooked back up with the Allman Bros for "All My Friends" was one of the greats albums ever IMO Took my grandkid, he loved it SoulshineStone Cold RageShine On You Crazy DiamondPlaying with Joe Bonnamassa, who will join the short list of best Rock/Blues players ever, if not the best, he is unreal, have seen him twice, I think this is one of the best videos ever for the guitar work, blows me away every time I see it

I was never much a fan of Tool , but my brother has been insisting that I listen to their songs quite persistently for a long time now. So I decided a week back to check them out.
Blown away.
MJK is a fucking philosopher. Their music and their lyrics are such a fit - a gift to music. I've been listening to their albums since then on repeat almost.
How did I not get into this band sooner...

How did I not get into this band sooner... very funny. on my way to work right now and listening to tool this very moment. tool has been one of my favourite bands ever. been listening to their music for almost 20 years now. heard they are working on a new album, its been 12 years now since their last. its also worth checking out maynards other projects. i think "a perfect circle" broke up but they did some great records. puscifer is another interesting project with maynard. edit: saw them live in vienna around 2003/2004. an experience i'll never forget, truly magical.
