I just find it hard to believe that Guardiola would say something that strong publically if he didn’t already feel it was a done deal.

Can't we all start a massive twitter rumor relating to Gundogan?

What makes it worse is the fact that Bayern fans, by all accounts, don’t even want him there.

It sounded more like a last gasp attempt to stop him going elsewhere to me, more desperation than confidence. Carbon, you should do your Jim Carey cock out picture with Peps head on it

Be interesting to see how Bayern turn out next year. Pep has inherited the best team and squad in the world who played brilliant, attacking football using 4-2-3-1. They also have the best midfield duo of Martinez and Schweinsteiger. When he took over, Pep pledged to adapt to the side, rather than making Bayern adapt to him, it seems anything but that though. With a change of formation to 4-1-4-1 it really is hard to see how they are going to keep everyone happy. You'd assume Martinez would be the defensive one, with Thiago and Schweinsteiger infront of him. That leaves three positions for Muller, Kroos, Gotze, Ribery, Robben, Mandzukic, Shaqiri, Can and Gustavo. Out of them I'd of thought Muller, Kroos, Gotze and Ribery are all indispensable but obviously that won't be the case, will be even harder if Gotze doesn't play as a false 9. In 12 months time we could well see one or two top players become available.
Fuck it we should just wack a bid in for Kroos now, certainly wouldn't be unhappy with Gustavo either. Honigstein and Jan Aage Fjortoft both think this could cause quite a stir with a few of the current players and it's a big gamble by Pep to bring Thiago in.

If there is a footy God this would be the miracle scenario people speak about for centuries. That is, if he snubs Bayern for, you know, playing time.

Apparently Pep wants to switch to a 3-4-3 formation so I guess that would mean;
Robben, Thiago, Schweinsteiger,Goetze Muller, Mandzukic, Ribery
?

We should table two £30m offers for Muller and Kroos right now. Hopefully we turn one of their heads, Bayern fans will revolt at the disruption this Thiago fella is causing and back off. Simples
