I'm shocked at Rodgers response to the ban, how can he think a 10 match ban is not fair? Its the second time he has bitten a player not to mention the racist embargo!
As for Reina saying there is a witch hunt England with regards to Suarez, is he on drugs?
The scrutiny he comes under is no unwarranted its all his own doing.

It must be contractual. This thing of Liverpool managers suddenly buying into the paranoid and victims culture of the club simply cannot be a personal choice. I mean i was genuinely stunned at what he came out with, un-fucking believable.!! Rodgers can roll out as many sob-stories as he wants, he can try and convince people that Luis Suarez is just a swell guy, but at the end of the day he held Ivanovic and fucking bit him.!! Whinging about 10 games? He should be counting his blessings it wasn't a dozen or more. Second time the fucker has bit some one. FFS. To be honest, his press conference was an embrassment. The club is an embarrassment. It is a disgrace to football and all that love the game.

Love how they went straight down the modern worlds "Get out of jail free card" by coming out with "It's his culture" again.
So when he racially abuses people it's because it's his culture to call people negro's.
And when he bites people it's because it's his culture to do anything to win and fight for your life on the pitch.
It's every defence lawyers instance "Can't touch me" card. Just say that it's your culture and then if anyone punishes you then THEY'RE the racist.
Poor Suarez, lost in a strange new world where everything he's used to is suddenly considered wrong, and all these new rules and laws are so alien to him.
If only there was a way for a multi millionaire who has several hours free time every day of his life to become educated about the rights and wrongs of his new land.

You dont see diego forlan going around biting people, this cultural crap makes no sense. I can't understand why people say they shouldnt bring his past offences into account. If Im in court for robbing a house would they ignore the last two houses I robbed, the answer is No. Football fans do live in a fantasy world at times, what makes sense in reality doesn't make sense in football to some of them. It would be nice to see managers get behind the FA when they actually get something right, it doesn't happen often.

I'd be pretty pissed off if a United player got banned for 10 games for that. I know he has previous etc but I just think it's a bit excessive. Is it really worth 7 games more than the standard violent conduct ban? 2 games more than racial abuse? Or in the case of Terry 6 games more?
Seems pretty silly to me. He didn't actually do any damage to the player.
I knew it wouldn't be a popular opinion but it's how I feel.

I hope all violent, inappropriate and racist behaviour can be treated on an equal standard thus. 10 match ban for a bite, 10 match ban for all bites - that kind of thing. No more slap on the wrist and a measly fine.

It would be good if the FA was more consistent with their punishments and got rid of this bullshit rule that stops them reviewing stuff that the ref has dealt with

Agree with Tommy. Suarez has been done my a hyperbolic media furore. 4 games would've been enough, suspended until the start of next season.

The F.A have always been terrible when it comes to inconsistency so that goes out the window as far as the punishment goes. I think it's extremely lenient. 10 games is a piss take. If this was a united player I admit I'd be pissed but then if they were like Suarez I wouldn't want them at the club anyway. I'd be fucked if I'd back a player that tarnishes the clubs image like he has done for them. Also would depend on the offence, if a united player bit someone then throw the book at them aswell.
Although the F.A have now dealt with it the worst part for me is how the club have dealt with it. The fact that the only punishment they have given him is a £200k fine, No suspension, no fuck all. That to me is fucking disgusting. To put it bluntly he hasn't been punished at all, because for those 10 games he will still get paid.
They are offended by everything yet ashamed of nothing. The club itself is a disgrace and the fact they have defended this peice of shit through all he has done is nothing shotr of laughable and sums up what a laughing stock they really are.
To sum the F.A up though there should be guidelines already written up as far as bans and fines are concerned so these sort of issues can be laid to rest, because quite frankly im getting tired of seeing Red Rum and his cronies in the news trying to defend the undefendable.

Don't get me wrong Tommy, not saying your wrong, just that I think differently about it. Popular opinion or not, your entitled to it as much as anyone.
