Wonder if this would be the case if it wasnt the vermin that was top of the league? Everything seems to push their agenda atm. Including shit like this... Of course they are. Yet Juan has been donating a percentage of his wage to charity and encouraging other to do so for long enough. Funny how he never gets a mention.

Just read on the BBC that UEFA have lifted the ban on 3pm kick offs for the remainder of the season if it is to be rescheduled. Games could then be shown live on TV.

It's the arrogance that comes from having everyone in your life brown nose you from about the age of 7. We all remember the best footballers from school (or maybe that was you), wasn't it funny they got away with so much more shit than the regular kids? Could do pretty much what the fuck they wanted and teachers would still quiet, because they were the star player who made the school look good in games. Girls all wanted to be around them, regardless of things like looks or personality. Other kids were desperate to be their friends.
That has gone on all the way though their life, surrounded by yes men, "mates" who piss themselves at every one of their jokes, coaches and managers of youth clubs pandering over them, agents fawning over them to get them to sign up, telling them how incredible they are daily.
Any wonder they look down on little pissants like the regular person, any surprise it wouldn't occur to them to give some of their millions to help out people in aid. We don't show up on their radar. It's been drummed into them that they are supreme. The PFA have not helped here. They told players not to accept pay cuts until the PL had agreed terms with them.

Sure the players have a moral responsibility to either donate or take a cut but at of the day why is our anger at them and not the ownership. Liverpool sent their workers on furlough today and their owners are billionaires that own a baseball team as well as multiple American media outlets.

Even if the clubs agree, its up to each player to agree to the reduction, there under contract after all. Im disappointed with players at present, there just alittle quiet, normally there on fucking Twitter. If just a few took a cut they could cover the non playing staffs wages and they wouldnt miss it to be honest.

Because the PFA are driving this 'collective agreement' nonsense. There absolutely nothing to stop individual players agreeing to taking lower wages. Except the PFA are acting like a typical 'fuck everybody else do as we say and don't step out of line' union. I saw their embarrassing excuse about the tax yesterday. If they are so concerned then agree to take the wages, allow them to be taxed fully, then voluntarily reinvest 90% back in the club. Or set up a Lower League fund and donate a large portion of wages (after tax, because that is so important to the PFA). Any player earning even ten grand a week could afford to do that. Wish our players would just break ranks and do the right thing. The PFA is a cesspool at the best of times.

Pretty sure our players are donating 30% to the NHS, whilst the club are still paying the staff fully.

Speak to the clubs month 1 money goes to NHS, Month 2 onwards money goes towards insuring non playing star wages are fully covered and clubs do not need to government money.

Yeah, Maguire went to Woody to see if it was doable, then went to the squad who all agreed. Maybe not finalised yet but it's happening. United have also said they won't be taking govt money to pay staff and staff will be paid in full. In general I can see the clubs problem: there is potential that if they force players to take a paycut the players would be able to leave for free due to breach of contract. They need the players to volunteer it, like ours have. I know the PFA are there to look out for the players, but during this they should be advocating paycuts to keep the clubs staff paid in full.

There are contractual issues but the players just need to do what ours have. Volunteer to give up a portion of their wages.
The PFA can get fucked. They allow agents like Raiola to take and take from the game but get their knickers in a twist about this? I remember Taylor's platinum handshake. It's a disgrace.

Aye, Taylor is one of the biggest cunts ever. And that is saying something in football
