Apparently the clubs dislike the extra PL games being on Sky, BT, Amazon and BBC, and want to sell their own games individually online if they aren't picked from the initial package. You'd hope that United would put ours on MUTV, but most likely not. Sky and BT usually pick our games anyway so the club won't have many to sell. In the long run, I have no issues with this delivery model, provided I can get it on satellite TV as well as online - I can't stand my feed being 2 minutes behind as I talk to people about the game in real time here and elsewhere. I wont be paying any money to them directly through tv deals. nothing to line the pockets of them bastards

They can go fuck themselves. The big games will be on TV. You think I’m paying for a lethargic struggle against West Brom? Get fucked.

Annoyingly, the only thing the Glazers haven’t monetised, is the tv deal for just our rights. You’d think along with Liverpool, we’d fetch the highest price, if we weren’t to go to MUTV. If they sold to say, DAZN, for example, that’s a chunk of change going straight to Florida. Waiting for a new new tv deal that isn’t collectively bargained, is the only thing keeping the gimps here.

The thing is though, I’m happy enough with Sky because it also covers a lot of other sport I like. Utd are almost a by-product in recent years. I actually don’t know if I’d pay a fee to watch us, certainly not the dross we have served up for 7 years. Absolutely in the 90s and the teams of Ronaldo and Rooney but now? I don’t think so.

TBH, the romantic in me hopes they go to this model bc it’s the one way we as a support base can fight back. Don’t subscribe, don’t pay for MUTV or DAZN or whatever streaming platform they choose, and hit the Glazer bastards in the only spot they feel something. Unfortunately, the pragmatist in me believes there’s enough lemmings amongst our support that’d fund it and then some.

They signed a player whose club wanted to sell and who were happy to take favourable terms for the buying club. Even Woody would have got that over the line. I'm not saying they aren't run better than us. A pub team is run better than us. True. So not sure why you’d have an issue with the press pointing this out. It adds to the anti-Woodward sentiment which is building nicely. Its not so much the press having a go at us, its using Liverpool to do so as if they're suddenly become genius.

Everton showing us how it should be done against Palace... Not looking bad so far are Everton. Looks like they have a decent manager finally. Can this season be one to break their Liverpool hoodoo ?
