Mane has just scored for the dippers. 2-0. CL football for them. As per the other day we should have finished them off, but no. Infuriating really.

Abysmal defending by Leicester. Abysmal. They just bottled it at the end.

Abysmal defending by Leicester. Abysmal. They just bottled it at the end. It's what Rodgers does in the league.

Looked like they just didn't believe they could get it over the line. Season was a couple of games too long. Reminded me of us in the FA Cup in 2007. Massive effort to win the League then had nothing left in the final.

Leicester had better CBs and a better DM in Ndidi , they still conceded more goals than us , not that great for a manager many considers is miles ahead of ours

Leicester should have managed it especially considering the ground chelsea and liverpool had to make up.

Bit torn on the Leicester thing. I think Chelsea and Liverpool are making that ground up with a vastly superior squad. Still inclined to think Brendan is overachieving with Leicester.
However, they were so well placed they still shouldn’t really have cocked it up.

I think Rodgers did well to get them back challenging for a place in the top 4 after they tumbled into mid table obscurity after their title win. And obviously the FA Cup was a massive achievement for them. But really this season they should have capitalized on Chelsea and Liverpool's weakness to finish top 4 and used the extra money to strengthen further. Its a real missed opportunity and even though mitigating factors such as a thin squad and injuries they should have been able to get the job done.
There must be a few players now who after winning the FA Cup are thinking this is as good as it is going to get and want to move on to play CL football.

Maddison and Tielemanns would walk into our midfield and can definetely make the step up.
