Just to reiterate what Chris said-
Please under no circumstances post the name of the player arrested on here. No hints or insinuations either.
Thank you.

In all fairness might be best if we just leave this one alone and concentrate on the transfer market, especially our great incomings and hopefully deadwood outgoings

I know it’s an old game, but Sky Sports have just shown Les Arse v Leeds Scum from 2003 ,I forgot how seriously good that game was. Brilliant!

OK, I still don't have a clue though... It's not a United player. Thanks, I have figured out the club and given the age quoted, narrowed it down to two players... ...and that's the last I will be saying on the matter...

Don't know where to put this but it's the Prem...and Greater Manchester...hope it isn't one of ours... A Premier League footballer has been arrested on suspicion of child sex offences. The 31-year-old man, who has not been named for legal reasons, was detained on Friday by Greater Manchester Police. In a statement, the player's club confirmed he had been suspended and added it would "continue supporting the authorities with inquiries and would not be commenting further". The footballer has since been bailed pending further inquiries. If you look around, you'll know the club and who it is supposed to be, but I'd appreciate nobody coming out and saying it, purely to protect the board. Thanks guys. It is worth pointing out that although, legally, it is still allegations/investigations at this stage we cannot be sure the details will ever be released in full. So for belt and braces safety I would be avoiding all mentions of the player and the alleged offences.

There are a lot of really great matches from that era, and not just looking at it from a 'United were dominant so it was all fantastic' perspective.

OK, I still don't have a clue though... It's not a United player. Doesn't even seem like it's a Manchester based player??

Oh my word, there’s an awful lot of online weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth from Spuds’ fans today re Levy not wanting to stump up for Romero. I don’t blame them they obviously want the best possible players as we all do, but I don’t blame (the odious) Levy either ,who must owe an absolute shit-tonne given the new stadium costs and then Covid.

Arsenal really are shit. Shit manager, shit players, shit board, shit fans. Brentford have been comfortably the better team tonight.
In 2004 there was no reason why they couldn't crack on and become - well not quite as big as us, but not far off. They had the platform to win more titles and massively increase their turnover. The Emirates was a terrible mistake in hindsight, nice stadium but crippled them financially for a decade when football's finances exploded more than ever and they should have been riding the wave. If they'd built it say 5 years ago instead they'd have been much better off to deal with it whilst remaining competitive.

I can't believe their owners had the gall to be part of the Super League.

It's not even mid table.
