So happy for Nuno. He's a good manager and he has a decent squad now. Superb performance all round.

On Sky Sports Martin Tyler's uncontained distress at city losing is most good Newland, most good. Grealish touches the ball, Tyler and Neville cream their pants. The fawning over Grealish by the public is pathetic.

New Lane really is a scud ground for city.
Pleasing.

Not sure if I'm alone here but I really don't see the Grealish hype. He's a grass merchant that falls at the slightest of touches to win a free kick. So over rated.

That was a damned fitting end to an excellent weekend bar the Dippers winning. Gin 0’clock for me.

I think Grealish is excellent to be fair, or at least he has been at Villa the last couple of seasons. How he takes the step up, we'll have to wait and see.
I don't think he adds anything to City though, he's not better than guys they already have there. Obviously adds more depth to their squad but they already had ridiculous depth anyway. Thought it was an odd transfer for them to pursue truth be told.

I really like Grealish as well. I wish we signed him last summer. One thing I'm certain of, though, is that if we did sign him, there would be nowhere near as many people wanking over him as there has been over the last year. The consensus from media and fans of other clubs would be that he's an overpriced prima donna rather than than England's darling he's somehow managed to become.

As well as Grealish has done there is the thought that he was a big fish in a small pond, be interesting so see how he does now he's just a regular sized fish still also in a small pond but one that is lined with diamonds.
He's clearly a good player but these comparisons with Gazza are a joke; I think people are forgetting, or are too young to really know, just how good peak Gazza was. Listen to the likes of Ferguson talk about him. Keane just called him out amongst his hardest ever opponents.

If he went for 60 million nobody would be scrutinizing him as much at all because that's what I'd say he's actually worth. I don't see how he lives up to the 100 million valuation.

So happy for Nuno. He's a good manager and he has a decent squad now. Superb performance all round. Whenever I’ve seen Nuno interviewed he’s always come across as a good ,personable bloke, contrast that with FSW ,who I saw interviewed after their game ,and strikes me as being extremely short-tempered and rude.

I saw highlights earlier of the games yesterday including Spuds v Citeh where ‘Dr’ Pep was deep in (pitch-side) conversation with his coaches. “Pep ,he sees the game like no one else” or similar, says the muppet with the microphone. Please, can commentators stop with this nonsense. I’m seriously thinking of creating a new thread entitled ‘Unnecessary Commentator Orgasms’ per Tyler, et al !

Could he sort us out with some of that fake turf at a reasonable price? I like him, think he’s a good player. Worth £100m? Not in theory, but any player is worth what clubs are daft/rich enough to pay for them. Outside of his goals in the summer, Sterling’s been pretty poor the last year so I actually think Grealish could add something extra down the left for them.

He's good compared to other English players like Foden, Sterling, Mount etc. A lot of the hype comes from the exciting cameos he produced for England who were pretty boring to watch under Southgate. He's definitely a crowd pleaser with his confidence and flair.
But there is a difference between exciting cameos and standing out at a mid table club and producing the goods week in and week out for a big club the way Bruno has for us and Kevin has for them. I think Sancho will prove to be a better signing in terms of impact.
