It's not. Didn't they both deny it?

This is seriously poor form from Moyes *IF* he's stopping zaha from playing for that reason. I understand its his daughter but the clubs bigger than Moyes Yes, and he should understand his daughter's needs too

From www.manutd.com27/10/2013 11:23, Report by Adam Marshall Zaha in manager's plans David Moyes admits that Wilfried Zaha is very much in his thoughts as he ponders team selection for Tuesday night's Capital One Cup tie against Norwich City. Sir Alex Ferguson's last major signing has yet to make his Barclays Premier League bow despite starting the Community Shield win over Wigan Athletic at Wembley in August. The manager is mindful of the need to give the England international some opportunities in the side and included him on the bench against Southampton recently. Despite some talk that Zaha could be loaned out in January, the winger is expected to be granted the chance to shine in a red shirt. "I just don't think we have had the right opportunity to get him on as much as would have liked," said Moyes. "We don't want to put him in too quickly. We want to make it the right time. "I've said I would look at in January as I wanted to have him here for six months to see how we work. I told him we would try to get him minutes but the competition in the wide areas we have with Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj and even Shinji Kagawa playing off the side means we are as strong there as anywhere. "It's not that Wilf has done anything wrong, it's just that we have big competition and we have to try to make sure he gets some playing time. Unfortunately, we haven't done that with Wilf and, if it's still the case in January, we would look at it. But he is very much in my plans and in my thoughts all the time." Zaha to play vs Norwich then???

He can't do any worse than Ashley Young, so fuck Peanut Head off and give this kid a go. THe crowd will be more willing to accept and forgive his mistakes if it at least looks like he'll do something.

More talk about Newcastle wanting to take him on loan. If he isn't going to get games I'd say let him have a loan spell but not to that shower. Are there more ardent ABUs around who have basically zero geographical or competitive rivalry with us that those lot?

Partying, cigarettes and pretty women.
The heady concoction of temptation that seduced George Best in his peak years representing Manchester United appears to be having a similar bewitching effect on the England Under-21 winger Wilfried Zaha.
The only difference being, Best became an iconic figure in being named European Player of the Year while helping the club carry off the European Cup in 1968.
Zaha has done little or nothing since moving to United from Crystal Palace in a £10 million transfer last season. He has yet to turn out for the English champions in the Premier League.
Hours before United beat Arsenal 1-0 at Old Trafford last Sunday, Zaha was celebrating his 21st birthday in a nightclub in Croydon.
The nightclub posted footage of Zaha dancing on stage at their venue before pulling the video earlier this morning.
David Moyes would have had to sanction Zaha's night out, but the footage emerges on the same week photos of him apparently smoking appeared online are unlikely to impress his manager.
Zaha claims he wasn't smoking nicotine, but the pictures are fairly damning whatever he was puffing.

I won't shoot the messenger Kam, you're only posting the article. I'm always pretty sceptical when it comes to this stuff being reported, Eurosport want to drive online traffic their way, and believe me there'll be more than one ABU over there looking to get that out in the public domain pretty sharpish. If Zaha was out celebrating his birthday than so what if it was sanctioned by Moyes? It's not as if he just wasn't going to celebrate it. Regarding his alledged smoking, again Eurosport are speculating and without full proof. Media outlets will desperately try to tag a modern day footballer as x, y and z, all in the name of profit for their organization.

Agreed, think a lot of us just want an explanation as to why he isnt getting a shot with our noticeable lack of width...said it before and will say it again our best winger and crosser this year has been evra... shame its off the field things that may be contributing.

The media will always look to tarnish any player if you ask me.
Looks like Zaha was out celebrating his 21st, why shouldn't he? Moyes will have his reasons why he's not playing him, what the media say is not necessarily true, in fact the majority of the time it isn't.

The only problem I see is that he's playing any matches for us.

How could you concentrate on football with women like that hanging round? I'd be like George Best

Check this video our from the U-21 game against Blackburn ...
OK it is only U-21 but...
....he's no Ronaldo but boy, he reminds me of him sometimes...
he gets the ball and the defenders are already backing off, on the back foot...when was the last time we saw that consistently?
he may be a little raw but so was Ronnie when he came...yes, Wilf is a couple of years older but even so,....
whatever happens, he doesn't give up, he keeps trying and he keeps showing for the ball...defenders hate that 'cos he won't be intimidated..
he gets the ball and you start to shift towards the edge of your seat....unpredictable but exciting at the same time..
he scored a goal and that will have done his confidence a world of good...
I say, get him in the first team now, as a sub and bring him on later in games...can you imagine being a tired defender and seeing him stripping off? Again, we did this with Ronnie early on and that didn't turn out too bad...
Finally, rather him than Young - all day long...
