Line of Duty update.. Nearly done season 3.
Huge improvement from season 1 to 2 (Though I thought the finale to season 1 was very good too) and a clear jump from 2 to 3. I'm now starting to get the hype a little more. The writing really is excellent and it's just one of those shows where you've got to desperately get the next episode started.
Pretty Game of Thrones with the way they bump off some of the characters!

Has anyone seen Domina (on Sky in UK) about the formidable Livia Drusilla, wife of Augustus Caesar? Not bad.

Just been watching a clip on GMT’V about the Eurovision Song Contest and they are talking about semi finals.
I haven’t watched Eurovision for around 40 years but iirc I thought it just all took place over one night.
One thing I do know for sure is the UK.won’t win it even if we send the Beatles as our entry

Catching up on The Walking dead. The last 4-5 episodes of series 10. Really have gone down The last of us route. Even the music. Especially the music!

Anyone else bother with The Stand re-make? I'm 2/3 of the way through, and it's really not all that good. I know the story - I've read the book and seen the original mini-series a couple of times, but I'm still struggling to follow.

Done Line of Duty. Brilliant show after the first season. Seasons 4 and 5 in particular. Shite ending though. Don't know what it is with TV shows at the minute that just love giving such unsatisfying endings to series.

Finally got round to finishing the last season of Vikings. Meh. It's far from the worst drop off in quality I've seen from a TV series, but by the end it wasn't even close to being as good as it was in the beginning.

First episode of Loki watched.
Got off to a good start. Though Owen Wilsons nose looks even more fucked than normal, he's gone full Steve Bruce.
Half way through Startup as well, never even heard of it but just put it on Netflix on a whim; really enjoying it, it's got me hooked.

Don't know what it is with TV shows at the minute that just love giving such unsatisfying endings to series. a few films I’ve seen recently suffer with the shite or very predictable endings problem. The stand out one for me over the last 20 years was life on Mars.It was a brilliant story of a Manchester policeman in 2006 going back to 1973 and having to deal with all the attitudes and issues of that time. gripping stuff and one of the best things I’d seen on tv for some time that could have gone on for two or three more series but they just seemed to end it in a bit of a rush or fudge. the follow up Ashes to Ashes was nowhere near as good

Clarkson farm show is everything you’d realistically want it to be. Two episodes in absolutely loving it.

Has anyone seen Time on BBC?
Stephen Graham and Sean Bean are the main actors in it which was a good start.
It is so intense, highly recommend it. Gritty and I had to stop myself watching the third and final one last night so I had something to look forward to tonight! Wouldn't blame anyone that did all 3 in one go
