Done Line of Duty. Brilliant show after the first season. Seasons 4 and 5 in particular. Shite ending though. Don't know what it is with TV shows at the minute that just love giving such unsatisfying endings to series. a few films I’ve seen recently suffer with the shite or very predictable endings problem. The stand out one for me over the last 20 years was life on Mars.It was a brilliant story of a Manchester policeman in 2006 going back to 1973 and having to deal with all the attitudes and issues of that time. gripping stuff and one of the best things I’d seen on tv for some time that could have gone on for two or three more series but they just seemed to end it in a bit of a rush or fudge. the follow up Ashes to Ashes was nowhere near as good I thought Life on Mars had a brilliant ending, I don’t really see where they could have gone afterwards.

Real fan of DC ,although I’ve only just started watching Gotham, as I’ve never seemed to have had the time in the past. Brilliant! IMHO

Does anyone else watch the numerous Spanish, French, Swedish et al dramas available on Netflix? My beloved is absolutely hooked on them and has watched loads of them during lockdown -thank God I have a separate TV to watch! I must also give Ted Lasso a watch eventually too, when I’ve finished Gotham.

I watched that French horror one, Marianne. The first 2 episodes were the only tv I’ve watched in about 30 years that made me feel genuinely uneasy about being alone in front of the TV 😄. I have read from French speakers since that the acting is actually not that good, but that’s almost impossible to tell if you are reliant on subtitles.

Clarkson Farming on Amazon is brilliant. I worked in farming as a younger lad, so I can relate to it.

Always find it strange that House M.D is usually overlooked from it's generation of TV shows.

Currently re-watching The Shield which I first watched in 2002 when it initially aired. Still as fresh as it was originally.

Bosch anyone? Just finished the final series. Bit of a nod to The wire in one of the episodes. A character is describing someone being similar to Barksdale in The wire, asks J. Edgar if he has ever seen it!

How to Become a Tyrant on Netflix is excellent, if out over in the UK/Ireland.
Really well done series, and easy to watch, only 6 short episodes.
