Lining up Beef next, heard very good things. I have an unforgettable memory of the one main character (actor) being absolutely smashed in The Walking Dead (Glen) Prepare to be deeply turned off by each and every character in the show. This. I enjoyed the show but God the people in it are just the absolute worst.

With Justified: City Primeval on the horizon, has anyone seen Justified, starring Timothy Olyphant & Walton Goggins, story by Elmore Leonard? I've got the DVD boxset, n' I'm about 4 seasons deep. I always find it fascinating to see how a crew of extremely refined writers can emulate the ideas and style of a great like Leonard, usually headed by a show-runner with a high standard for his-or-her own style. Which is what Justified feels like to me: Standards maintained. That sounds a bit like a certain bald Dutchman, dunnit?

Brilliant show, which improved every season. I hope the new show does the character justice. Interesting story about the first season and how they pivoted to save it. Have you heard it?

This series will be based on the other book Elmore Leonard wrote about Raylan Givens, by the same name, so they'll have the same framework as the first series to make a brilliant show... Olyphant's intelligent and good enough to carry the character himself I think, but I wonder how the absence of the rivalry with Walton Goggin's character will be equalled with another character dynamic, because Raylan and Boyd were fireworks!

Catching up on Somebody feed Phil. Probably my favourite foodie show. His enthusiasm for food always makes me smile. Awesome TV.

The old man with Jeff Bridges and one of the greatest voices on TV, John Lithgow is a good watch.

Didn’t know whether to stick this on the ‘Glazernomics’ thread ,but anyway: Apple TV+ Super League :The War for Football is an absolutely excellent watch and highly recommended, especially given our current circumstances!

Just watching series 1 of HOUSE 🇺🇸of CARDS. I watched the original (English) series with my Mrs yonks ago and loved it,yet I love this American version more-I think. Both Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright playing the leads are utterly brilliant in their role’s playing venal,self-serving,stop-at-nothing, loveless, childless creatures, man alive it’s fabulous. Christ,I’m just looking at the original series on IMDB. 1990 FFS ,my lad was 4 !

New season of The Righteous Gemstones starting.
I don't see enough love for the show. I love it.
And having just binged through the whole of Justified I think it's helped propel Walton Goggins to my new favourite actor.

Black mirror doing Black Mirror! Really enjoyed Loch Henry. And the series opener Joan is awful was fun with some big names, Salma Hayek is still H. A. F. I might have to revisit the older series.
