Is it really hard to tell Moc? I'm beginning to think you just find it difficult to spot sarcasm  IMO the only real dead wood we have is Ando, which is sad to say. Nani and Young could well have big roles to play still. Young was largely injured last season and, the season before, he'd contributed to 17 league goals in only 19 starts. |

The Daehli thread wasn't sarcasm - it was an exercise in proving that people shouldn't comment on a subject they know nothing about. The same person that thinks Crerand knows nothing about football, also commenting on a player that he doesn't even know what they look like, let alone having seen them play. Oh yeah, and the same person who has written off another youngster before they have even played for the club.

"Dead Wood" seems likes a bit of a harsh phrase... but I think we all get the gist / idea.
Macheda and Bebe seem like players whom we might not have any use for at this club.
Anderson can be a good player, but I doubt he will reach his potential here - but I won't categorise him as anywhere near Macheda. Sometimes, I do think it's the lifestyle - perhaps he is the "atypical, stereotyped" Brazilian footballer that requires a degree of freedom to party hard - maybe more suited to Southern Europe such as Spain, Portugal or even Italy. United is a hardworking enterprise with a high degree of work ethic, perhaps Anderson's personality just doesn't work well with that.
Rooney isn't "dead wood" per se, but he is dead to me, and has a wooden brain.

Anderson is the number 1. Out of the main squad, hes the one that really cant cut it at this level and doesnt look like hes willing to put in the yards to do it. 18 games where he played 90 min in 6 years or something. Not good enough
