The title of this thread is spelt wrong yes? Yes it should be "For the love of Jebus sign this lad Gundogen" If 35m wont work with Fabregas the proposed improvement of 36m certainly wont. Have we got a bunch of utter fucking drongo's in the main office or something? Throw 20-25m at Dortmund for this lad. He ticks all the boxes so what the fuck is the hold up.

^It's already said, quite rightly, that Dortmund would never even consider an offer of £25m, especially after letting Goetze go.

I remember their games against Citeh. Yaya Toure was literally his bitch all night.
Although the romantic in me wishes he never leaves Dortmund. I want them to do well.

The lad is a magician in the middle. At least go in with an offer and get rejected so we can say we've tried, instead of fighting an unwinnable battle for another 2 weeks with Fabregas then settle for Fellaini.

An opening bid of £30m would be worth making. They wouldn't accept it but it's worth a shot and we could go a fair bit higher.
If we're going all out for Fabregas we should go all out for him.

He is unattainable.
Lewandowski's saga reminds us Bvb don't care about money. They made Lewandowski stay despite for another year despite knowing he would leave for free, heck even rejecting Bayern's £20 odd million bid in the process.

^I'm not sure that's true. You could argue they will always be suscepticable to mega bids because they remember how close they came to bankrupcy a few years ago. Plus they could always just sign someone else nobody's heard of to replace him and they'll probably go on to become amazing. Lets not forget that Gundogen was Sahin's replacement and people wondered if they'd cope without the latter.
The only reason I think they wouldn't sell is that they've just taken £38m or whatever it was for Goetze. They do care about money though.

With Goetze gone its very unlikely they are going to sell another one of their most important player. Just like they hang on with Lewandowski and rejected an offer from Bayern.
Ofcourse they could sign someone, but there is no guarantee he will go on to be as good as Goetze,Gundogan etc. Plus new players needs time to settle rathar then just slotting in. Dismantling the team by selling their most important players in one single window will prove disastrous for any team no matter how much you invest in their replacment(Arsenal are prime example of this when they flogged most of their experienced players in the short span of time). The reason they didn't sold Lewandowski when Bayern bid and will not be selling Gundogan because with Gotze leaving they cant afford to lose another of their star performer.

Exactly. They can worry about their needs with £ 35 million in the bank.
