There is no excuse for united not having a girls academy and a women's team. There is money and in the US - the Glazers are American! - football is the most popular sport for women.....and City have an academy and a women's team!!??

1. Last time i checked United played in England. So it doesn't matter what the most popular sport for women is in the US. 2. Field Hockey is one of the most popular womens sports in Holland - Van Persie & Buttner are Dutch! - We should have a field hockey team too!! 3. There is no money to be made from womens football in the UK - because of point 4. 4. Womens football is fucking shit - which is why point 3 is true. 5. Who gives a fuck what city do/have. If they decided to move to Timbuktu would you suggest we do the same!!?? Oh, and given this - link - which is an absolute fucking disgrace to any sport, i'd rather United had fuck all to do with it all.

United are without alot of things - a midfield being the most important.
And the US connection is as relevant as the dutch one.
Id rather have a United Field Hockey team

No, just more important issues at the club to deal with.
And when your first post cites the Glazers as a reason to do something and citeh doing something as another, i smell a WUM

Well I've been a united supporter for 60 years, probably longer than most people commenting! As I said the US reference is obvious given commitment there to equality in access to football....

I thought the game with Germany vs Norway yesterday was entertaining, but not in a footballing sense, they appear to be conference north / south level.
