Well, this makes me feel better about being fucking disgraceful in the semi-final. I'd much prefer us not to have another large goal thrashing by city, this time at Wembley in a final.
Wait, not it doesn't make me feel better at all. The fact we have to avoid city for fear of ANOTHER humiliation is soul-breaking.

Moc was just mentioning this on the Capital One v Sunderland thread - the thought has also crossed my mind. But I think we should be more positive and hopefully we can build some kind of momentum up to facing Shiteh in the final and handing their arses on a plate to them.
I just wish the players are able to establish some kind of resilience and up their performance [despite Moyes' decisions] - that'd be nice.

As I stated in the other thread - that attitude really disappoints me. We'll never die an' all that.
We must beat Sunderland. And we must look forward to a tough final against our rivals. Not run and hide.

Having watched that dreary shite for 2 hours, it's probably a good thing Meulensteen's gone.

Think he might be more suited to a coaching job rather than managing. I don't think he has that depth. However, I also don't think hiring Rene back will immediately improve our play - but under the right direction, Rene would be an asset in the backroom staff.
