Ok lads. I know all this rumour-mongering has done given us a boner and given us dreamy sandcastles in the air. I know this wouldn't help either, but...
...I have heard from a grapevine, according to a person who works for Chelski - that Mata will be coming to United. Apparently today is Mata's last day at Chelski's ground?
What's more concrete was that he mentioned that the original deal was £20m plus Rooney, which we refused. The deal will be done for around £40m - £48m instead. The person who offered this information said they (Chelski) purposefully asked for Rooney in the deal, so as to jack up Mata's price tag. Mourinho apparently has cooled his interest in Rooney.
Take of that what you will. I'm not very sure if this is reliable information, but it was offered to me quite easily.

people need to calm down a bit on this, they haven't even accepted a bid from us yet, they could have a change of heart about selling to us and pull the plug, or psg could come in for him and give chelsea a more favourable way out. i won't get excited about this until i see him holding up a united shirt, i have been through too many of these failed transfer sagas in recent years to get sucked into the hype again. why is it always such a massive drama when united try to buy a player, does my head in...

I was literally gonna say the same thing. He looks like a lost school boy just doing what his mates do to try and look cool. He should have been at the front there before Fergie and Gill, it just shows you how much confidence the guy has. None. The best assassins are quiet; they work in the background. They do not draw attention to themselves and wait for their prey to come to them ... I've never played Assassin's Creed but that sounds like a quote from it. |
