The alleged Mata transfer has all the hallmarks of us not wanting to pay,what the selling club want,this could go the same way of Ronaldinho,baines,fabregas,herra fuck up's !

Benfica midfielder Nicolas Gaitan has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United rumoured to hold a long-standing interest in the Argentine. According to Portuguese paper Record, Benfica and Gaitan will hold a meeting this weekend to decide if the player will be sold before the January transfer window closes.

Hearing a press conference announcing Mata is to be held on Monday, deal should be completed before. Possibly giving them time to get another signing and announce both together? Yep, that's exactly what I'm getting at, Trystan. |

Cool so if Moyes is in Germany tonight where does this put the Mata transfer? Mourinho presser in 30 mins, imagine if Mata's sitting there next to him (much like the Fabregas shite)

Sky radio pundit just announced Rooney's odds for joining Chelsea by the end of the month is down to 2:1 and the book on Mata is closed. Also the medical now pushed to Carrington rather than at a Manchester hospital. Looks promising for completion tonight.

Jesus christ this is actually happening. We are signing one of the BEST midfielders around creatively and PROVEN in the PL. Every time I've watched Mata play I've always been impressed and wished we had him in our side.
