I can't think of a single reason why Kroos would leave except $$$ He's at the best club in the world, playing for one of the best managers in the world, and he plays Because he will stand out more in our below par midfield and maybe a chance to play in the much more interesting Premier League, And to play with these guys? I like how they all look serious, apart from Robin. Robins happy.

Kroos is quality. If we nab him it will be our best ever transfer month.

Yeah but he didn't say that. And where did I say that he did? You're quite a literal type of chap, aren't you. Go crazy, take the leap of faith, see outside the box, whatever you want to call it.

As a player he had justifiable reasons to question the clubs ambitions. The fact that he chose to do so in such a public manner said all we needed to know about him as a person. Stew, your words are too lenient for Rooney. His actions are not selfless. Neither can it be said that his actions are justified by the reasons. Asking the manager in quiet, "hey, I think we're weak in this area, and perhaps is it possible to work something out?" or "Would it be possible to have a reassurance?" is not akin to a public "I want to leave." and after a good few days, has his greedy-arse of an agent justify "Er, because we aren't buying players. And oh, money isn't enough." I bet anybody here to do that to their boss - say it aloud. "I'm not paid enough.", "This company isn't going in the direction I want it to go.". Let's see how many get a pay rise and how many gets a little nice memo to keep the desk clean. This is why i don't like individual contracts, not that I want to get into a political debate.
