In regards to Kroos, Guardiola has said he could leave due to not being able to agree to a contract because of Kroos's wage demands,
And it is reported that United have said Kroos can name his wages.

Looking at all the options, you'd have to think that if we're not getting Vidal, Pogba or (looking very likely injury-prone & a gamble) Gundogan, Kroos would be attainable if we threw a giant fee and massive wages in their direction.
Given that his contract is running out soon - 30 Mil and 150-170K/week they might well need to consider the offer, think about it.
Fernando on a free, if he doesn't sign a new deal, could also be an option.
Otherwise, what other world class midfielders will be available that fall within our desired long term age bracket.

Matuidi rather than loan Nani to inter send him to psg and get matuidi. Koke I also feel can be done maybe in the summer though if Hernandez was offered and 20 million I think they would play ball, the player himself might be open to move due to mata and de gea being with us. The board and moyes would be stupid to thinking mata is all that is needed this winter, we need a center mid. Even calvalho, we have options and can do deals in 48 hours, spend now or count the cost when we finish 5th |

In terms of passing and vision, Herr Kroos or Gundogan are the closest you are going to get to Scholes. I did gladly throw 30mil+ and 150k a week or possibly more if there is even a chance of landing him this window.
Felli Kroos and Mata is a tasty looking 3 man mid.

When PHSC was thought to be Chelsea bound, and we were allegedly 'offered' Mata and Luiz. We've since signed Mata, and with Matic being signed, Sideshow Bob won't get much playing time in his best position. Could it be outside the realms?

is Guarin on loan our wish or actually a possibility being discussed  As for Kroos , in the middle of park and even with Giggs i dare say we'd look a beast of a team. The guy's got an unbelievable engine. not surprised if DM wants him , will be absolutely shocked if we end up getting him though |

actually bestie, i wouldn't mind Luiz in here , said it in the summer , we need a C**t , not the sort of type we have. i know he ain;t many peeps fav , but we do need players like him also in the team. Besides Fella has to have company in the hairdo dept.  |
