I've got to post again I'm gobsmacked. I really thought larnell and Jesse Lingard we're both nailed on first teamers. I'm fuming and gutted at the same time. I'm surprised they are permanent deals. Thought Tunners in particular might be a loan to see if he could do it in midfield in the prem. More than Tunners, I thought Cole was the one who could have made the jump into the 1st team. Was creating ripples for the reserves |

nice to see City strengthen in areas they really need strengthening. SO Zouma, Mangala and Fernando off from our list. must be huge fans of FM. Ahh..I am relieved more than being disappointed. 3 lesser realistically unrealistic targets to concentrate on. Were never going to get them. |

He did stagnate a little though from what I saw of him last year.

There was a way he could've said that without getting banned. Why would anyone speak like that on their 3rd post? Suggests that it was not "Truly" his 3rd post, only 3rd post from this Id. |

That's the thing, how many of the youngsters who we have let go have actually struck it big time? Pique? don't think we inserted any clause for him, even if we did he wanted the Barca move so wouldn't have moved back anyway. We go on about the academy being great, & it is it produces a great deal of players who are able to make their living playing across all tiers of English football, but not many play in the Premier league and very few play for a top 10 team (sadly Gibson at Everton would be included in this pile), and Cleverley, who unbelievably is in our team should have been left put at Wigan imo. It's a sad truth but Evans, Januzaj (who hasn't been here that long) are the only ones off the top of my head who have really been able to cement a place in the team in recent times. So if Tunnicliffe & Cole can experience the Premier league now then we can see what level they are 'really' at if you catch my drift. Yeah, we've produced a lot of Premier League quality players, but the thing that's annoying (and I'm guessing is annoying Bestie too) is that the likes of Simpson, Eagles, Bardsley, Richardson, Wallwork, Gibson, etc were given some games. They got a chance, we got to see them against Premier League players, and we got to say "Yup, not gonna cut it here, let them move on and have themselves a solid career elsewhere". Tunni, Cole, Brady; they haven't had any opportunity. They've looked good in the reserves, then they've been shipped out. If they never hit the heights then the club has made the right decision, but fans are going to get annoyed if they see a young talent doing well in the reserve team, then being shown the door without any first team chance. Surprised and Gutted to see Cole go out on a permanent deal. Was in the mould of modern 'Goal scoring' wingers. P.S. Not a dig at anyone, but was more surprised to see Cole being called as a LB. Please follow the reserves guys, 'that' is Organic growth. |

Sorry what I meant was out of the current bunch those two stood out for me as really promising players, not saying Jesse is going. Although that would not surprise me. |
