Is Mangala really that much better than Jones or Smalling to warrant a 30m+ outlay? We can't replace Vida or Rio with potential. For that money, need someone class and experienced like Hummels/Subotic to partner Evans. Besides, CM and LB are absolute priorities. Rest of the areas can wait.

Disappointed with that Townsend rumour, I must say. As much as i enjoy seeing us put an attacking 11 out on the pitch. Bringing in players like Townsend and Mata make us more of a threat, but unfortunately don't take away from the fact that we're going to still get gutted down the spine of our team for the rest of the season.
No CM presence is leaving our centre backs isolated, has been all season. Hopefully, we do go for someone who can really improve us today because I can'y see the likes of Townsend anywhere but on the bench.
