Le Arse and shitty on their way out. But that would enable them to have more control / concentration on the League. Double edged sword That's true...Ideally they both progress to the semi-finals, where they get knocked the fuck out by us and Borussia ;D Analyzing the fixtures: Arsenal play Liverpool and us before the 1st leg City play Chelsea and us within a month in which both legs are scheduled. A comparatively easier draw hence works really well for us as for our competitors there is an additional burden of playing top sides apart from each other.

Manchester City v Barcelona Olympiakos v Manchester UnitedAC Milan v Atletico MadridBayer Leverkusen v Paris St-GermainGalatasaray v Chelsea
Schalke v Real Madrid
Zenit St Petersburg v Borussia Dortmund
Arsenal v Bayern MunichOn current form, cant bet against city. Messi will be back for Barca. They'll beat City. If Toure can't dominate a midfield they are half the team. He won't against them.

They've dropped points since having a massive injury crisis.

Don't forget Roy Carroll will drop a couple over the line for us. Lol. Goalkeeping Legend.

Leverkusen had a really funny night. And Bender didn't have a good game, which really affects them.

This was pretty much a dream draw for me. I'll do my utmost to be in Athens and cheer my guts out for our team.
As a slight off topic, I would appreciate if anyone is willing to sell an away stand ticket to me, so I can be among our own supporters there.
Can't wait, hopefully this will be my first European match for me to watch live.

Great draw!!!
I hope Arsenal and City win. We can actually beat them over two matches.
I don't think we're able to beat Barca or Bayern over two matches.

Barca or Bayern would be difficult I grant you, but anything can happen in a two legged cup tie. Those two sides would be favourites but I wouldn't rule us out in any way, shape or form if we get our confidence back, slowly but surely, also if we strengthen in January. Even Barca and Bayern have flaws, there's no such thing as a perfect team. Funnier things have happened mate believe me. We should have put out Real but were screwed by a comical decision by the ref.

A much as i hate to say this have to say that City look far more promising to go thru that than Arsenal do. Barca have been susceptible and it will also depend on Toure and Messi - how the perform for their respective teams.
TBH i wouldn't mind going ahead in this competition beating City , in fact i really hope we do.
That apart think ( conspiracy theory) JM had a fair bit of idea that he could draw Gala and started his Drogba licking well in advance. Arsenal used to draw Barca when Pep Managed them and now draws Munich - how about that ?

The great thing is a lot of the big teams are playing each other already. Some big competition is going to get knocked out. I'm not feeling too bad about Europe this year, there's absolutely no expectation.

Barca have been vunerable at the back for some time if you ask me, as Bestie says you could see the Berties having a field day up front, no joke.
