A great game, IMO the most difficult to play at a consistent high level Been a while since I played more than 2 or 3 times a season. Best I played was when I was stationed in Hawaii and all the courses had some great deals for military people. Was part of a foursome that played damn near every day. Beautiful courses

Anyone watching the Open? Jordan Speith is the best player in the World. Tiger is currently +5 after 11 holes. He's totally gone yet the media puts so much focus on him.

12:19 Wow
Golf Hang on, Phil has competition (see 11:38). John Daly, where did you get those pants? 11:38 Not number one in the fashion stakes Golf Meanwhile, here's a picture we've found of Phil wearing what might possibly be the worst golfing top of all time.

Masters starts in 2 days in what looks to be the most exciting and open Masters in recent memory. All the big names are in some kind of form, even Spieth found something at the Phoenix Open last week. Really looking forward to this one, outside of football it's probably my favourite sporting event of the year.
I've had a few punts on it. I'm on Bubba, Zach and Dustin Johnson, Branden Grace, Bill Haas and a small punt on a 200/1 outsider in Bernd Wiesberger.
Bubba is my main fancy though, in great form and won it twice before. Besides Bubba you've got to be looking at Day, Rory, Spieth, Adam Scott and Rickie Fowler as the other guys to beat but having said that it wouldn't surprise me if 1 of about 20/30 players won it, such is the strength in depth in golf right now.

Masters starts today. Dunno about everyone else, but I bloody love the Masters. Augusta is such a gloriously beautiful place to watch golf. I'd actually like to go some year, it's on some unwritten sporting bucket list.

Yeah mine too. I love The Open but there's something about this place that makes this the most special major IMO.

Spieth leading the way again through 9 holes. The kid's relentless.

Had selected groups, including Spieth's on the red button all afternoon. Only get full coverage at 7pm because that's when the US broadcasters start their coverage.

Actual full coverage only start at 8pm UK time. Ridiculous really when you consider the last group teed off at 7ish our time. It's only the bloody Masters afterall.
