Yeh Matchday experience is for videos, audio and pictures from the games. If you have any pictures of you with players or whatever, feel free to post them in the General Board as MissUnited says.

Yeah I guess you are right. Creating too many sub-boards may not be a good idea. But thanks for considering!

Acknowledging the fact that this forum has members from all parts of the world i thought it would be nice idea to have a thread that when new years comes around everyone can just say happy new years and where theyre celebrating. most i know wont be on the forum but maybe the next day or something?
but when 2007 rolls around id be great to see how vast Manchester Uniteds fan base is. any thoughts?

Hey, I thought it might be a good idea since there is always a lot of guests on the site to start a thread in the general united section(since its probly the most visited) asking any guests to join the forum. Can never get enough new members right? Just thought this might be a good idea as there are always a few guests on whenever I'm on.

This is probably a bit silly, but.. why not make RoM a proper website? Keeping the forum of course.

You have to pay hosting costs to do that, unfortunately. Right now, I just own the url, which costs hardly anything to buy, and then have a redirect to the forum. It's a possibility for the future, but I dont really want to be forking out any money to run the place.

It would be cool to have this as an actual site, maybe in the future when your thinking about it some of the members including myself would help support the idea of making this into a website and help you pay for it. How much does it cost to get the rights anyway?

How much does it cost to get the rights anyway? I believe that the price is any where from $3 to abt $10 per month. The price also depends on the size of the website and the amount of space it requires. I know how to make websites and have done a couple before. I believe we might be looking at a website similar to www.forumforfootball.com/ with the FFF Forum. I do not know how we will be able to own a website with no money coming out of it. There is no point in having a website just to attract new members to the forum when there is no money coming in. We already have alot of channels that bring in new members for e.g. MySpace, YouTube, Orkut, Facebook, Blogs sites like that of Scott, SEF blogs (Adam's blog), MissU, Lou, Simon's (Given to Fly) etc, and not to forget the various ManUtd and Football related sites n forums. I'd personally like the website to be a little profitable for the owner(s) (Scott & Co.) I am going to be brain storming on this tonight and sleep on it. I will be able to get some ideas in when I wake up in the morning. Hopefully, my fellow Republikans will have posted some by then

Could get some ads on the site too and get some of the money.
Also, if this over does happen (which obviously it won't for a while) I've ran a few sites before so I'd gladly help.

They are not that reliable however. I prefer .com or .org as opposed the other ones. It makes the site much more reliable and legit.
