isn't it a ban for players coming in? not out? It is but they won't be selling one of their best players anytime soon,if they can't replace them, you would assume? agreed |

Apparently (!) it's been reduced on appeal to only under 18 players. For 1 year. Coming in. Not true. Its a blanket ban on all players. I checked the web for what you said and nobody of repute is reporting it. All say blanket ban. Some reputable guys that are Barca followers but 100% objective (Rafa Hernandez e.g.) are saying there's every chance they can appeal, which would lift it temporarily, allowing them to sign whoever they please until it's overturned/successful. Would be great if they were screwed though, they realy need a central defender (and we really need to have less competition for transfer targets eyeing the pleasantries of sunny Catalonia) |

Seems like nobody knows what this means for the Ter Stegen or Halilovic transfers.
Spansih press seem to think that the deals will be "frozen", and put off until after the ban is lifted, while some others seem to think that the deals will be nullified.
I guess one has to wait for an announcement from FIFA on these issues.
Wouldn't mind it if we snapped up Halilovic.

A ban is a ban, not oh well let them through but no more. They allow those deals then the ban is as much of a farce as Chelseas apparent ban was.
Good on the cunts, couldnt happen to a better club. Hope now players start dropping like flies in the treatment room.

They'll just find a way to circumvent, delay and make a farce of the ban like Chelsea did. If it was a smaller club the ban would be unavoidable but a club with the financial clout and influence of Barcelona will find a way to make a mockery of it. Not to mention FIFA wank themselves off every 5 minutes over Spanish clubs, I imagine Barca will have a few allies within the organisation.
