As much as i love him , a 35 year old is not our answer at LB. Glad his return was blocked whoever it is.

Even if it was only until summer, he should have come back. His charisma in the dressing room would have been worth it.

Evra should be back as soon as he retires from Marseille. He could be our ambassador.
He's at a decent, traditional club with decent supporters and this is a consolation.

Patrice Evra has revealed he advised Paul Pogba to join Manchester United - despite the pair being team-mates at Juventus at the time.
The duo won five trophies at the Juventus Stadium, including two Serie A titles, and also played together at Euro 2016 for France.
They both ended up leaving the Bianconeri within six months of each other, with Evra having joined Marseille in January.
But Pogba's fate could have been very different if the 35-year-old did not have a quiet word with his compatriot last summer.
"I told him that if he was going to leave then he should join United," Evra told FourFourTwo .
"Juve is a great club and I would have been happy if he’d stayed with us, but I said Man United is a massive opportunity for him."
Evra, who left United for Juventus in 2014, has acted as a mentor to Pogba for a number of years.
And, having been one of the few footballers to feature in his popular Instagram videos , it is clear Uncle Pat is still close to his former team-mate.
"Paul is like a brother to me and I want the best for him," he added.
"I will kill people who want to take advantage of him or try to do something bad.
"Paul’s got a really good heart.
"If he has a bad game, people criticise him for what he does on social media or his haircuts, but he won’t change. He thinks for himself and acts for himself.
"I don’t want his image coming before his football, and although I’m not worried that will happen, I’m scared other people hope it does so they can criticise him like they did with David Beckham."
