Neither Vidal nor Allegri have come out and unequivocally said Vidal is staying

We've been 'preparing' a bid for about a month seemingly. It's a long process. Ed has to crunch some numbers, then triple check them, then knock up a few Powerpoint presentations. Then he has to work out how to use the fax machine. Also, he is yet to realise that you need to dial a 9 for an outside line. He has assumed that Turin is just constantly engaged thus far. And in between all this he has to stitch up noodles and tyre deals. The guy is overburdened.

Another day, another El Mercurio story about Arturo Vidal. Today's headline: "Juventus lower their demands for Vidal"
El Mercurio report that Juve would let Vidal go for $60m. They repeat what Allegri said yesterday and insist Vidal has to say he wants to go
According to the report, Juventus do not wish to state publicly that they are allowing Vidal to leave,so they want him to ask for a transfer
El Mercurio are also writing that Vidal's agent, Fernando Felicevich, will meet with Juve director Giuseppe Marotta today.
During the meeting, Felicevich will present Juve with Man Utd's offer and state Vidal's wish to leave for England, according to El Mercurio.

Very odd considering how dead it seems to everyone on this side...
Could there be life in this yet?
Chilean press have been saying for ages it's a done deal.

I fucking love how our fuck up of a chairman draws the life out of these transfer sagas almost to the point where us the fans say "Ahh fuck it, I couldn't be arsed. The life has been drained out of me". This is exactly the same feeling I had last summer.
