Brilliant Angel Di Maria has been missed
Angel Di Maria's spontaneous spark has been missing from Manchester United's play recently, but his team-mates are delighted he is back from injury and his sublime finish in the 2-0 FA Cup third-round win over Yeovil was a flicker of the finesse he brings to the team.
Di Maria came off the bench after an hour at Huish Park and gave United a creative boost in the attacking third of the field as the Reds sought to break down a determined opposing defence.
Within four minutes, Ander Herrera had struck a stunning goal to give United the lead, but Di Maria was proving influential at both ends of the field. He cleared an effort off the line and then, in a late burst forward, he raced onto Wayne Rooney's through-ball and coolly chipped his finish over the onrushing Jed Steer in the Yeovil goal............

He is just amazing. Signing him probably wiped out most of Woodward's sins. Have observed that he tends to chip the goalkeeper too often when he is one on one. Hope he doesnt become predictable. The world is watching the little wizard |

Di Maria humbled by FIFPro World XI honour
Angel Di Maria says it was “truly humbling” to be voted into the FIFPro World XI at the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony earlier this week.
The Argentinian attended the event in Zurich and witnessed former Real Madrid team-mate and ex-Reds winger Cristiano Ronaldo collecting the premier prize, but his inclusion in the World XI, as voted by more than 20,000 professional players, was a huge honour.
“It was a privilege and an honour to be named in the FIFPro World XI at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Zurich on Monday,” Di Maria told ManUtd.com. “To be named among the world’s elite players is truly humbling.
“Since I was a young boy, all I have ever wanted to do is play football, so to receive awards like this is an added bonus. It was a great night and I’d like to thank everyone who voted for me.”...........

Strange as I was thinking exactly the same thing...how he nearly bought Ronnie etc... The team he 'could' have had almost defies description...so this prodigious spotter of young talent fucked up again... |

Saw it some time back. How did they get as far as the patio? Thought his house would be guarded well enough that a scenario like this would be averted. Sucks. Hope they are apprehended soon. |
