A load of foreign players smoke, it's only really in the UK it's seen as a big deal.
Cruyff smoked for Gods sake, didn't exactly stop him hitting the heights did it?
I remember a Ginola interview where he talked about the reaction the 1st time he lit up in the Newcastle dressing room, the shocked looks. He just shrugged it off, loads of players back in France did it (you know, the country that won back to back major titles not too long ago).
Basically, I don't give a flying you know what if he or any other United players enjoys a cig or not. If they're coughing their guts up after half an hour then that's different, but as long as they perform then they can stick lit ciggies up their arse for all I care.

Off topic again but you could say the same about booze. I can remember when SAF took over (just plain Alex then) the great Irishman Paul McGrath was playing with us but he had an alcohol addiction but that did not stop him from being a United great. I have read stories about him going out on the piss the night before a game and yet played the match the next day and gave it all. Times change nowadays with the booze bit but having a puff on a cigarette is not as bad as being pissed as a newt and then getting caught out. Nuff said from me and I would rather talk about Rojo the footballer at Manchester United.

I wonder what percentage of footballers are in open relationships.

A 4.48 video of him smoking a cigarette in a disco.....I thought it would be something about football wise or naughty things with the female gender. for 70 grand a week I think he can resist the urge for a cig and to do it surrounded by people with phones is ridiculous. Hope the club slap the dipshit with a fine. He can smoke all the fags he wants when he leaves in summer just not when he's a united player. Chill man, he gets up and down more than a lot of players, he can enjoy a cig if he wants

Doesn't really bother me if he smokes or not. What bothers me is his lack of footballing ability. He is a liability defending and crap going forward. his crosses are rubbish. might as well have kept Butner. would have saved a few quid.

I honestly don't know how Jose does it with CB's.

I honestly don't know how Jose does it with CB's. Five words. "We already have playmakers. DEFEND."

And time for a bump. Beast mode engaged. I think our poor view of him was based largely at left back. Can't stand him there. He's got a bit of Vida about him and centre back. No nonsense, tough tackling. He could have a big year next year.

The guy. Rojo put Costa to bed and didn't stand for the outrages antics the United way. I have got allot of respect for Rojo after the Chelsea match...carry on bro!
