That's a fantastic looking team..... I think, but I think we have to make a space for Rooney. He carried us last season and he does always give 100%. Do you think he would move to midfield where he could control play me? PHC doesn't carry anybody but himself and that's going to get harder on his knees as he gets older and fatter. The biggest problem in the squad for three seasons has been PHC. He's already shown how pitiful he is as a captain and a poor leader. I expect nothing from PHC now or in the future - he should have gone last season. Wow no holding back there. Can I ask you why is he "PHC" I never seen that before. Do you think we should just have RVP and keep welbeck then? I don't think that's enough fire power. We would need another world class striker.

The way I look at it is I have full faith in LVG that he will rebuild our team and if he made Rooney captain I think he believes in him and that good enough for me. LVG doesn't care about stepping on toes and he would sell Rooney if he thought he wasn't up to the job. So I think if you don't believe in Rooney you can't believe in LVG.

Again, sorry, but that's rubbish. If anyone genuinely believe van Gaal picked Rooney because he thinks the ingrate little shit is the best man for the job they're away with the fairies and there's no saving them.

Fergie wasn't wrong, he wanted to sell Rooney.
Moyes tied his own hands and van Gaal's by bending over backwards to appease the over-hyped mercenary. And since when has England ever been a barometre to what Manchester United should do? It hasn't.
United > England.

Wait wait wait fergie wanted to sell and he couldn't/ didn't that has never happened before. If he wanted Rooney gone he would be gone. Even now I bet he could pull the strings to make it happen. And I'm not saying England is the bench mark I'm saying why would they make him captain??? A lot more people hate Rooney than love him so it wasn't the popular vote. Rooney made bad choices with his business dealings with UTD but he give 110% every game. Other player even talk about him like Stevie G Ronaldo scholes beckem...... Are they all wrong

Are they all wrong professional footballers praise their mate *SHOCK* nobody talks about rooney the same as ronnie or scholes. ronnie is one of the best to ever play the game, and the testimonials about scholes come from zidane, viera and xavi, not other players in the england team. beckham was a limited footballer, but what he did he was the best in the world at.
