Exactly Ratbag. What I would give for a Sheringham or Yorke to knit our moves together now. Both could play the split striker or no 10 to absolute perfection. That was a 37 pass move and they both featured at the key pass ends. Touch, awareness, vision, perfection.

Yeah, seems quite happy to me too. There havent been too many wins/goals for us off late to show the happiness. Though I absolutely love Scholsey, I think most of the players change a lot once they become pundits. Scholes thinks that Di Maria is unhappy at United? .... I just can't be arsed to post the link As I said earlier, Scholsey the pundit seems very different from Scholsey the player we all loved.

Scholesy was one of my heroes but he talks through his backside as a pundit, columnist.
I always have my suspicions about somebody when he actually never uttered a word as a player, went home as a player but can't wait to have a go?
There's an element of BT Sport and the papers paying him to be controversial, but I'm sorry he's talking through his arse in relation to the City game (amongst other things).

When you think about it, he was a combination of Yorke and Sheringham. He was brilliant in 10-11.

Was watching the CP match again, and not a great performance but I still thing there was a lot of good to be taken from it as injuries heal and the club goes forward.
One of the things I really like was the performance of some of the youngsters, and most especially, young McNair.
Call me crazy, but as I was watching Paddy McNair come out and move up field I was first impressed with his speed, then was standing cheering TV when he put on the "Moves" and left defenders wondering wtf. He also has shown to be very capable passer. Played as attacker when he first came up before they made him CM.
More I see of McNair the more I am becomming convinced he is a special player that can take on about any role, and do it well. His "calmness" is borne of of confidence that is a bit rare in young players. I'd love to see LvG make a bit of a project out of young Paddy, I honestly think that this kid has the makings of a block to block monster in the middle. Doesn't yell and rant, but even as young as he is, you can see him pointing and directing teammates, and his teammates respond to it. Strength to burn, confident and calm in possession, excellent passer, understands flow of game. great pace, exceptional balance, hard to knock him off the ball, he's young but he plays "old" .
Think Schweinsteiger.
IMO the youngster could well be United's next Keane, without the crazy baggage.
What do you guys think??

It was the FA Cup.
I still remember walking through the Manchester Suite in OT talking with my dad about Ronaldo. He'd had a really poor game the match before and I said I would drop him but of course we wouldn't becasue it was Arsenal.
One of my finest moments as a kid manager ...

God bless Juan. juanmata8.com/blog/una-explosion-de-alegria/Hi everyone, Today, following our important win on Saturday, it seems a bit easier to be here writing these lines about what has happened during the week. The feeling of scoring a goal in Old Trafford is nearly impossible to describe, but I can tell you that is very special… It’s like an explosion of joy shared with everybody in the stadium, the players and the crowd. Even more if your goal secures the three points! Winning this weekend was very important. We came from a few weeks without victories and these three points take us near the teams at the top, and encourage us to keep working hard and improving our game. Obviously, we know there is still a lot to do in order to get where we want to, but it’s easier when you win. We are already thinking about the next game, and it’s a big one, in London against Arsenal. I hope we win again and show consistency in our results. Now, changing the subject, I had two different, special dinners during the week. The first one was the club’s Gala Dinner to raise money for UNICEF. It was a really nice event and all of us had the chance to make contributions to the Organisation. For many years, UNICEF has been working to improve the lives of children worldwide. It’s a remarkable job. Manchester United and UNICEF have been partners for 15 years already. The other dinner, on Saturday, was to celebrate David de Gea’s birthday and we had a very nice time. It’s always good to chill out with friends after playing a tense game, especially if we have won. And David is not only a team-mate, he is also a very close friend of mine. I wasn’t able to watch other football leagues on Saturday, but I did watch the highlights of the Real Madrid and Bayern games. Barcelona won too, but had to struggle a bit more to beat Almería. On Sunday, I followed Sevilla’s crazy game, and also the goalless draw between Valencia and Athletic. You may have seen on my Instagram account that I had some time as well to explore the area around Manchester. Like the Bridgewater Canal by Little Bollington. I fully recommend it if you want to switch off from everything ;-) I take this opportunity to send a big hug to all of you and, as always, to thank you for your tireless support at all times. I always try to have good things to share with you and I hope to keep talking about them on this blog. See you next Monday. Hugs! PS: I also want to congratulate Álex Márquez, the new Moto3 champion, who has completed a “hat-trick” for Spain in the World Championship this season, alongside his brother Marc and Tito Rabat. "One of my most important goals with United" Mata talks about all the details of a goal that edged out Crystal Palace Juan Mata score against Crystal Palace one of his most celebrated goals in his career, he came on the pitch three minutes earlier and fired a curly effort to put United ahead in a game that never looked under control for the Red Devils. "It was probably one of my most important goals," commented Mata after the game. "It was a very difficult game. We needed the three points and I am very happy because we got them and that is exactly what the supporters deserve". "When you come off the bench you try to change the game and that what was in my mind when I was warming up. Luckily I managed to do that," he continued. United number 8 admitted that the game against Crystal Palace. "It was a frustrating game. We had the possession but we didn't create too much and they had a big chance in the first half, but we're happy because we got three points." Mata praised an outstanding defence that kept a first clean sheet since the win over Queens Park Rangers earlier in the season and he says the international break will give some of the injured players a chance to return against Arsenal in two weeks' time.

Two different cup games. Both 4-0 against Arsenal I believe. This one had Anderson and Fletch in midfield.
Didn't we play with Rafael and Fabio on the wings against Arsenal one and win or is that the same game that Rafa was in midfield?
