Hey guys,
I just wanted to make a quick announcement to clear a few things up for everyone. You may have noticed several members sign up, wind people up, and then never return again. Unfortunately, this is due to a fella called Geoff Ryan, who was originally known on the forum as "Schmeichel1". Red Devil Eire, Irwin's Left Foot, Jessie, and most recently "i" are some of the usernames he's picked which have been banned. Geoff, who is a couple of years short of 40, for some reason has decided to repeatedly sign up at the forum and cause trouble. He was originally banned for spamming, but since then, has developed an obsession with the forum. Members of staff have been threatened by him, and he consistantly talks of hacking the forum and deleting it.
I just thought it was only fair you all knew what was going on. We are dealing with the problem, and I am awaiting an official response from ProBoards as to what can be done about this sad man.
So please be patient, and if there are any members who strike you as behaving oddly, or here just as a wind up, don't hesitate to PM staff, as it is probably Geoff acting the fool. I appologise to any forum members who have been targetting with his embarrassingly immature antics. MissU, Red Yank and myself have been diligently working to try and keep this loser off the forum.
I thank the rest of the members on this board for generally getting on with things and behaving so well. This forum is a pleasure to be a part of, and it's the members on here who create that atmosphere, so cheers. Maybe Geoff will discover a life, and we won't need to worry about his pathetic immaturity anymore. Feel free to point and laugh at him in this thread, as no doubt he will be signing up with a new name sometime soon, and reading this #Wa#
