Juve won in the Adrian Mutu appeal.
After sacking Adrian Mutu in 2004, Chelsea were trying to sue Juve a portion of the £14 mill fee they paid Parma.
Mutu was signed by Juve during his ban, (and spent time with Livorno as Juve had too many non EU players) and went on to sign for Fiorentina in 2008 for €8 million.
Fifa ruled in Chelseas favour in 2013, but it was overturned...on top of that Chelsea has to pay all of Juve and Livornos legal fees.
For me personally, if it happened to us I'd have been angry if we sacked him. Wait till his ban ends, then sell him on if need be or see if he was rehabilitated.
They jumped the gun and I'm glad they didn't get compensation!
Eric kicked a fan, we supported him. They are still human, even if they are on good money.
