A 17 year old Chelsea fan that was with them has defended them as 'not racist', claiming they were just singing a song about their beloved Captain, and that they stopped loads of people getting on the train, not just a black guy So they weren't being racist .. just being cunts Nope, still Racist, and we already know they're cunts

While it is condemnable and appalling, it's laughable that Chelsea make a statement saying so considering who their captain is. A 17 year old Chelsea fan that was with them has defended them as 'not racist', claiming they were just singing a song about their beloved Captain, and that they stopped loads of people getting on the train, not just a black guy Is that a joke? If not then how in the name of Zeus does it make it better? That's like setting fire to a church and saying you were only doing it to warm the spoon enough to dissolve your heroin.

www.football365.com/news/21554/9720051/Chelsea-Fan-Denies-Racial-Abuse-ClaimsA Chelsea supporter who was on the Metro train in Paris on Tuesday evening has defended the actions of his fellow supporters, despite video evidence indicating racial abuse of a black commuter. The supporter has also insisted that the chant of "we're racist and that's the way we like it" was actually a song in defence of Chelsea captain John Terry, rather than being aimed at the black commuter shown in the video. The man was blocked by what appears to be a group of Chelsea fans travelling to the Parc des Princes for the 1-1 draw with Paris St Germain on Tuesday night. He was repeatedly pushed back onto the platform. Mitchell McCoy was one of around 40 or 50 Chelsea supporters on the train. McCoy is a season-ticket holder who travelled to Paris with some friends. He was named on Twitter following the publication of the video on the Guardian Sport website. The 17-year-old from Fulham in London told Press Association Sport: "I'm not in the video but I'm on the carriage. We got on the train and at the station where the man was trying to get on we stopped for a couple of minutes. "He tried to get on and a few people were pushing him off because there wasn't much space on the carriage. You couldn't move. People were saying it was because he was black. It's not true at all. I personally think it's because he was a PSG fan. Obviously they didn't want him anywhere with us. That guy in the video tried to force himself on, so they pushed him off." A chant of "We're racist and that's the way we like it" is clearly audible on the video, but McCoy says that was not about the passenger in question. He added: "That song was about John Terry. The only words I know is 'he's a racist, he's a racist' and I don't know the rest." Asked why that song was sung at that moment, he said: "I'm not sure. I didn't sing it. "It wasn't just that one time that it happened. It wasn't just with the black people that we weren't letting on. There was white people, women that people weren't allowing on. There was no space. They were saying, 'You can't get on this carriage, you have to go somewhere else'." French police have confirmed they have launched an investigation into the incident, and have asked their British counterparts for help in identifying those responsible. A statement from the Metropolitan police said: "We are aware of footage currently on the internet allegedly involving Chelsea fans in Paris. "The Metroplitan Police takes these offences very seriously, no matter where they occur. We will examine the footage with a view to seeing if we can apply for football banning orders, preventing people from travelling to future matches. "We will of course assist French authorities to identify those people involved and support them in any action they choose to take. At the same tame we will be working closely with Chelsea Football Club." "I wouldn't say worried, because I haven't done anything wrong, neither has any of my mates," McCoy said in response to a potential banning order. "I don't see how that can be used against me because I'm not in the video. Of course we're concerned (about being banned). It wouldn't surprise me at all. (But) they ban you for anything. It wouldn't surprise me." Asked if he would be prepared to help Chelsea identify those involved, McCoy added: "I don't recognise any of them so I wouldn't be much use."

Oh that's alright then isn't it. A large group of pissed up men pushing women off a train. Fucking dickhead. Can't wait for everyone of those men in the video to realise that their bosses, mums, dads, friends will see how they acted. Arseholes.

Would not mind betting there were some dads amongst that lot with their own sons. The old Shed Boys (dads) and Chelsea Head Hunters educate them young nowadays, they never change.

Racism is an inflammatory issue at the worst of times. We have never really suffered from the disease. Chelski fans in the 70s achieved a sad reputation that they have never really shaken off. Millwall and Leeds were pretty bad but we never hear much today. The police spokesman on Radio 4 news tonight implied there was a lot of racist chanting at games - has anyone heard this?

No - but the media want us to believe there is a lot of racism at games to sell papers or get website hits ... and they fucking love it when dicks like Lenny Henry and Sol Campbell moan that there aren't enough black people in their chosen fields Cream rises to the top whatever colour you are ... and positive discrimination is STILL discrimination

Studying the Nazis and European fascism is more than a cure for racist bigotry but I was lucky in my upbringing. My parents didn't tolerate any form of anti-ism whether race, religion etc. Unfortunately it's not the case for everyone and some silly sods think they would be safer under a Nazi regime.

Memories for me. This is what I like to see and hear. The night of the treble gained and the celebrations after. Went well into the night and I got pissed as a newt.

Me too Phil. Almost feel bad for the kids who are brought up in homes where racism is acceptable and encouraged. One would hope as they get older they see the light, but that type of upbringing is very had to overcome. They are pretty much fucked from the off.

Utterly revolting "fans" from an utterly revolting club, and for some of them (who were interviewed after the incident) to deny it,was astonishing, blatant, and totally disingenuous. Roisin Wood-Director of Kick it Out-is trying to mitigate this by using the some old "it's a minority" excuse on Channel 4 news,in some clubs it's still a problem, aptly demonstrated last night.

These wankers are so two-faced they would be delighted if one of the team's black players scores the winner in a CL final yet spew their hate on ordinary black people It's like a Christian who loves Jesus hating Jews
