I went to an MLS game once. Don't remember it beacuse I was pist due to the fact I was going to an MLS game. You lucky bastards are in for a viewing treat. I don't even watch Spanish, German and Italian football anymore for free What's the attraction of MLS? Does the ref stop the game every 30 seconds for an ad break? Can honestly say I have never watched an MLS game on tele, but it would not shock me. The attraction of the MLS is that soon Fat Frank and Slippy will be playing in their MLS prime. Which is somewhere between not good enough for the PL and might get a PR run out in Italy.

TBH I'd love to actually watch American sports live at the stadium but the commercialism of the TV broadcasts just bores me to death and it's not about sport any more but a constant ad campaign with snippets of sport crammed in - it's like trying to read a good book but have a need to surf the internet just as it's getting interesting every few minutes Used to love watching NFL and MLB and used to stay up all night watching them but at the end of the day you just feel a bit cheated

Sports in this country are money generators pure and simple. Live spoorts are the way to go. Love going to the stadium and watching live, nothing quite like it.

US sports also seem to be more family orientated at the stadia Here we go to a game and shout abuse at the players and other fans in a more tribal way then come home and kick the kids I do hear the West Ham fans like a sing-song now and again

Still lots of fighting and foul language, just not large groups fighting each other. Usually it's two drunk guys missing each other with punches and falling down the stairs or on to other fans. Certain rivalry games I would not bring a kid or the misses to though, I think that is pretty universal when it comes to regional rivals.
