Been a longtime lurker going through the many threads of transfer news and early mornings in front of the TV with RoM open reading through the match day threads. I know there is a few other Aussies on here like Aussie Graham but thought I might start posting too. Got the opportunity to see utd in Sydney a year or two ago and am planning my first visit to old Trafford in 2016! Excited would be an understatement Here I am and Hello! fellow reds. Attachments:

How long have you been a red? Since around 1994 when a neighbour told me about Manchester United on our walk home from school.
Who's your favourite player in the current squad? Herrera / Carrick
Who's your favourite past player? Darren Fletcher. (IMO underrated)
One thing you wish you could tell Fergie? (LVG) to tell the back office staff to bring MUTV back to Foxtel (used to be on Setanta) & allowed me to watch the youth games.
Where did you hear about Republik of Mancunia forum? Random web search

Welcome on board to a fellow Aussie red. Sorry for my tardiness in saying hi, I've been a bit distracted trying to get ready for a UK visit to see my elderly folks (leaving today in fact). Bollocks that I have to be back before the season starts, but the gods transpired against me!
I've been here for 28 years and in the early days was a member of the NSW United Supporters Club then run by a great bloke called "Fred the Red" and his lovely wife, Ann. As the Internet and Foxtel became more accessible the club held less attraction as a source of info and when Fred and Ann moved back to Manchester I bailed.
Haven't been to the current Sydney gatherings, quite honestly I'm a bit long in the tooth for it now.
Enjoy your trip to OT next year, you'll have a ball!
