You seem to have a very short memory.. Actually that would be LVG.. Herrera was nothing short of brilliant for us in the 2nd half of the season. Precisely. So he played the full second part of last season and has now missed one game. How is that not rating a player?

How is that not rating a player? Yep, that's how I read it too. He's only missed 1 game so far. I'm going to ignore all of pre-season, when he only came on in the second half of games, if at all, to save his new fave players legs, in his new fave tactical wank. Ignoring that 100%, totally I am.

How is that not rating a player? Normal managers tend to start with the best players in their team when available.. Just saying

How is that not rating a player? Time will tell. But he barely featured in pre-season either. And that 'first 11' was the one that pretty much started against Spurs.

It's not set in stone though is it? Have you followed all the training session this season? Do you know who has looked terrific and who hasn't. We will play a lot of games this season and Herrera might be in the team this weekend already..

From SportWitness...
“Pedro’s exit from Barcelona is near”. This is how El Pais start their article on the winger’s situation at the La Liga Champions.
The Spanish newspaper claims those are the words from those close to Pedrito, his entourage more than ever confident a move away from Barcelona is near.
The reason behind all this? Manchester United are prepared to make the €30m bid the La Liga champions are prepared to let him go for.
Louis Van Gaal has already told Pedro he is counting on him for the coming season, and tonight’s game against Sevilla in the European Super Cup looks more and more likely to be his last in front of Barcelona fans in the azulgrana shirt.
At Manchester United, El Pais understand the stance is: “We want him, but there is no rush”.
It doesn’t stop there. Cillessen is also a target, a backup plan, if you will, amidst the complicated Victor Valdes and David De Gea situations.
Barcelona are keeping to their “we haven’t received a bid yet” line, but it seems like a matter of time before a Pedro exit happens.
El Pais explains it’s been two years in the making, ever since he lost his place to Sanchez under Tata Martino.
When signing a new contract, Pedro made sure to not change the clause that would allow him to go for €30m if he didn’t play in 60% of Barcelona’s time on the pitch.
Following last season where the winger played in 35 games last season, starting 14 and completing only 8, the 60% were never met, allowing Pedro to put himself on the market for his meagre release clause.
The situation remains the same: he’s anyone’s if the €30m are paid, and El Pais seem confident Manchester United will do it… eventually.

I would be 1000 times more up for this if he never got referred to as 'Pedrito' and was called Eliezer instead.
