My name is Bob, I'm a Yank, and my love for the Red started a little over 40 years ago when I moved to England as a boy.
My favorite player at the time was Georgie Best. I've struggled to keep up with MU over the years, but thanks to the miracle of modern communications, I now catch as many games as possible.
I needed a place like this because there's nobody for me to talk to, and I wanted to scream when I saw on some other boards all the unmerited love of ADM like he was going to become MU's savior (or "saviour" for you lot). He was too soft, too easily knocked off the ball, turned it over, and his crosses were almost uniformly too low. Now I found a place to say this.
Need a place to get info on my favorite team and hear other opinions.
Having played goalie for many years, I was a huge fan of DDG, who I think gave MU some wins last year it did not deserve, but that's what the good ones do. Still trying to figure out who my new favorite player is if DDG is going.
