It's coming up fast! Anyone else excited for this one?
Watching England right now get a hammering from France, doesnt bode well. Who does everyone fancy to win it? Obviously NZ are still the team to beat but I would love to see Ireland finally turn it on at a world cup.

Very excited mate. Can't wait. Hopefully we'll get out of the group, should that happen we can do very well.
Fancy Ireland as an outside chance. Doing well.

If Ireland can top their group!! I think it will be an Ireland vs New Zealand final!! Buzzing for this!! Cannot wait! Hopefully we (Ireland) don't fail to deceive the way we have done the two previous world cups

I don't think we (Ireland) are ready yet, but they are in good form and are due a good run. We just haven't fulfilled our potential on the world stage

Yeah the last two world cups (esp 2007) wer an abs shambles.. do agree we r due a good run in one . Although I disagree in that I do think we are ready... being that for a lot of these players it def will b their last world cup, i.e o'connell, best.. then ther are others around about 31 - 30 age bracket who cud hav another one (possibly) sexton, bowe, trimble, heaslip. . But I bet a lot of these guys will b playing like it's their last .. y I cn see Ireland putting on a gud showing

I will say one thing: Regardless of South Africa's form going into the tournament, don't discount them.

But traditionally we struggle a bit when we are favourites going into a tournament. We do have a very good side and a brilliant coach. All depends on that French game. We should win, we're better than them but it'll still be tough. NZ are the clear favourites but after that there are 4 or 5 teams that could come 2nd. Interesting to see who perishes in the group of Death.
