This TV series has brought about some interesting debates overtime I mention it.
I really like it, I have watched season 1 in it's entirety, I thought it started slow but but finished strong. The actors really grew into their respected roles.
Most fanatic Batman comic fans don't seem to like it because of it hasn't stayed true to the comic books narratives, I like that it's different, I love the modern element to it.
Thoughts?

Ah man i think its awesome!!! Took some time to get going in the first season, potentially only picked up after 8-9 episodes.. but this season has started like a house on fire!! The lad that plays the "Joker" is awesome!!!
Only problem, I think Bruce is too Young, I think they should have done a time jump between season 1 and 2, perhaps got him to around 17 years old, then gradually build from there...
I cant see this show being a 10 season wonder, therefore they are going to have to create Batman sooner rather than later!

I thought the same, although the young actor who plays the role of young Bruce is exceptional, I can't see where they're going with this. Unless he develops at a rapid rate in the next couple of months, maybe stick him on some of the hormone drugs Messi was was and possibly still is on.
Maybe after this season there will be a big time lapse. From a production point of view, there is noway the producers can keep young actors on screen for 3-4 years, they would have seriously availability issues.
It will be interesting to see where it goes in season two, episode three is online. Off I go...

I did not see it coming and I am kinda pissed off at it lol

Cracking show from that point onward

Cracking show from that point onward loved the premise, and thought the show started well. seeing the rise of the villains and ultimately seeing the origins of batman is a great idea.

Have to say I was hugely disappointed by it. I thought I was going to love it but it never did anything for me. And I love Batman, have done for over 30 years. Felt like so any other crime shows with the only difference the villains. And even then the tone was all wrong. And what the fuck is that wretched Fishes Mooney character doing in it? I left it after 6 episodes, maybe should go back to it. I transferred over to Daredevil which blew it out of the water.

The show is a humongous disappointment . Fish Mooney is a massive twat. Penguin was interesting enough but the rest of the show was so dull . Daredevil is a masterpiece. Perfect casting and tone.

Not to spoil it for you's boys - don't think either of you would care from the sound of things ! Fish has been done away with (she was the worst fkn character on TV)!! I thought the same as yous until it got to the latter episodes of season 1, only then I thought it found its identity, you start to see Edward Nigma slowly turn into the Riddler etc.. quite good! Season 2 has started off like a house on fire tbf
