Jesse has been speaking about how he's getting back to his best. How he's done well since lockdown ended in training and needs to apply it to matches. How he's getting back to the old Jesse. The old Jesse was shit though. His time is up, surely now. Needs a clean break and go somewhere as a starter. An Everton or West Ham maybe. Without question.

As a footballer I dont think hes good enough at our level. As a person I genuinely like the lad though. Feel he gets a lot of abuse thrown his way which I dont agree with. Criticism yes, abuse no, especially abuse he can see himself. The lads human like the rest of us.
Feel like the time is right to look elsewhere though. Not just for us but for himself aswell. A change will do him good and wherever he ends up I wish him the best of luck.

I agree nothing wrong with being critical of him, he’s most probably brought most of it on himself with his online stuff but there’s zero need to be abusive towards him. I know his moments have been few and far between - the winner in the F.A. Cup final versus Palace comes to mind. From his point of view what’s the point in still staying on at United if Ole is not really going to utilise him. Agree totally, it’s a good time from him to move on in the Summer window.

Out.

Out. What meanie . He's had a tough time in his personal life but is there any need to broadcast that out. All players are on social media and as long as there not apologizes on Twitter for there dreadful performances, I really don't care what they post. We really should ignore any personal issues and judge him as a professional. Lingard hadn't scored a goal since 2018 until last weekend and even that goal was the result of a cock-up by the goal keeper. We don't owe him anything.

My two penneth. As a United player, who scored a few goals and occasionally played pretty well for the club, despite the (supposed) issues with his mental health, exaggerated or no, I think he should be allowed to leave with a modicum of good grace, certainly without the slagging off he’s had (by some) on here. .His social media posts are an absolute irrelevance, as he’s certainly not alone in posting utter shite. ALL kids do this ffs. BTW, I consider anyone under the age of 30 to be a “Kid”. For someone who’s followed this beloved club for over 50 years I think that the decent thing to do is to wish him well in his future endeavours without rancour. Just sayin’

Disregarding everything off the pitch, he’s just not that good a player.
Please leave and free up squad space and thanks for the occasional bright spark. Good luck in the future (except against us).
